I booked online at hotels.com for 63USD + tax for a king bed room, they quote you higher than this if you call or walk in. This place is really good value for money. They provide free breakfast and dinner. There is free Wi Fi, a fridge and microwave in the room too. Hotel staff is polite and very helpful.... more

I can't understand the discrediting reviews, for the money we paid it was a great value. It's central to everything, the complimentary breakfast was good and the staff was very friendly and professional. Will gladly stay there again and highly recommend it to my friends and family. Keep up the good work! more

I stayed at the Arena with 4 girlfriends so we could see a concert one block over at the HP Pavilion. It was a nice room, we booked 2 queens, but they gave us a King with a pullout, kitchen and huge tub. it was very comfortable, nothing hugely exciting. I gave it four stars because of the location to... more

I understand some of the negative reviews folks have given this hotel, but for what I paid and what I expected, it is great value. Sure, you can spend more than double this and stay at the Fairmont Hotel down the street. But then, if you had the money, why didn't you do that in the first place? I stayed... more

If you want nice memories of San Jose - don't stay here. It looks alright from the outside and entrance hall, but as soon as you come to the room you will be very disappointed. It's very old and dated, nearly shabby. The room I stayed in was big but with old furniture with stains, you did not want to... more

I would agree with other reviews that the grounds are well kept and the hotel was clean, which is important but there was a stale smell to the room and the bed was uncomfortable. There was really nothing within walking distance although the hotel appears to be in a down-town type neighborhood. The store fronts were boarded up. Overall, the... more

We booked this hotel because it is so close to the HP Pavilion. The location is great. Its with-in walking distace to the Pavilion, which made it so nice not having to fight traffic coming out of a concert!! Check-in was easy, the room was clean. Jacuzzi tub was big enough for 2 people. We didn't take advantage of the... more

This hotel was a great find. The price was extremely reasonable - for about $100, I got a nice-sized, very comfortable suite with living room, kitchenette, bedroom, and a bathroom with a hot tub. The appliances (fridge and microwave) worked fine. The internet worked well. The staff was friendly and checked me in without any problems, even though I'd arrived... more

Well, the upsides are that the rate is low and it includes breakfast (good) and supper (poor). There is a jacuzzi in the room but we wouldn't have used it on a bet. This is a "has been" hotel that must have been super at its prime. Another plus is free onsite parking. Coffee always available and cookies. What's not... more

We arrived at the Arena around 6.45pm and were checked in quickly, with no problems. I had called the previous day to add another day to our stay, and was glad that it had been updated on the system-so there were no problems there! The room wasn't too fancy, but had all we needed, plus a hot tub in the... more
