We were on our way to L.A and we booked a room at this hotel after reading some nice reviews of it. Would I go back there. NO. Our room was nice but when we used the microvave a fuse exploded... humm that was weird. We could hear footsteps of other guests walking by our room and they need to... more

Yuck. Wow, I can't believe that anyone could possibly give this place a good review. This has to be THE WORST hotel I have ever stayed at. I almost turned around and left once I saw the room. We went out for martinis just to deal. Got it for $45 from Priceline, and this is the only time Priceline has... more

We stayed at the Country Plaza Inn for 4 nights last week. It was very clean and suprisingly nice for the price. The marble entry and granite bathroom were a pleasant suprise. The beds were firm but bouncy. I slept very comfortably, but then again after 9 hours of surfing I don't think it would matter what type of bed... more

I'm not a sophisticated traveler, but I am a world-class bargain hunter. This place appealed to me in several ways. My party of 2 had a king suite ($89 Nite) and were suprised to find that the "suite" was merely 2 adjoining rooms...with King bed and couch in one room and wet bar couch-bed and addl TV in the other.... more

We needed to stay in a hotel near Dana Point to attend a close friend's wedding which was the following day. My husband was part of the wedding entourage, so we decided to book a room instead of driving back and forth from L.A. two days in a row. Since we were on a budget and staying for only 1... more

I was very nervous to stay here after I read the reviews but I received this hotel through Priceline so there was no backing out. I have to say that truthfully, it wasn't that bad. It is right off the highway but we didn't hear any traffic noise from our room. It's true that you cannot walk to the beach... more

This hotel is behind a strip mall and literally 20 feet from the highway. All other hotels were sold out and a friend booked us a room at this hotel. We didnt check the website til we got there and the hotel on the website is unrecognizable compared to this place. Also, had we checked the website before we came... more

Ear-piercingly creaky floorboards in the room above added a percussion line to the mournful dirge being played out at this sad motel. Obviously once a more upscale accommodation, this motel seems to have fallen on hard times, from the mildewed bathtub to the broken deskchair to the hallway reeking of smoke. Dining on a meager excuse for a continental breakfast... more

Booked reservation through Orbitz about one month in advance, and followed up with a phone call directly to the hotel to confirm the reservation and request a top floor room. Request ok'd by front desk. Upon arrival hotel was filled with military training groups for nearby Camp Pendleton. Third/Top floor request was unable to be accomodated. Room given was on... more

This is a very nice hotel. Easy to find, and plenty of (free) parking. Reasonable rates. Our room was clean and the beds very comfortable. The bathroom looked recently remodeled and we had plenty of clean towels and toiletries. It was also very quiet (once the kids left the swimming pool area). The staff were pleasant and accommodating. I had... more
