My husband and I needed an unexpected stay in Salinas and did not want to spend much since it was just for one night. We are diamond at Hilton and Gold at SPG, but did not want to spend over $200 at a Hampton just for a last minute stay,so we thought this place was going to be quite a... More

Front desk manager/owner (kwi) is terrible person to deal with in every aspect. As my family I arrived the lady showed zero customer service skills, no welcome, no may I help you, no hi, no smile, just simple look of what do you want. She charged us $195.0 for a double bed room, even though on the phone she quoted... More

As we arrived the hotel clerk was very rude & angry, at one point she even demanded we pay more for our rooms we booked thru your site, and was so mean the next morning & refused to allow us continental breakfast... It was rather humiliating...

We took a last minute trip up the PCH and did not have any reservations. Unfortunately when we got to the Monterrey area we found out that there was a car show and there were no rooms available anywhere. We finally found a room at this Days Inn. The person on the phone told us the price for the room... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here one night on our way up north. There are many reasons why a tent on the beach would be superior (there is actually a beautiful camp-ground about 5 miles away), but let me mention a few: 1. Ants in bathroom; 2. A commune of flies as roommates; 3. Limited light-bulbs (if we were camping,... More

We stayed in this hotel because all other rooms in the vicinity were booked during Carmel's annual August car show. We arrived well after dark and were given Room 109. The lamp connected to the room's main light switch had no bulb, which initially left us bumbling around the room searching for other lights. Once the room was lit, we... More

This is an older motel, but it is well-kempt, clean, and comfortable. A lot of older hotels/motels have an odor, but this one does not. The desk staff was friendly and courteous. A modest array of breakfast items were available in the morning, as well as hot coffee and hot water. Jack in the Box is right across the street... More
