We stayed over the Thanksgiving holiday and were worried that everything was going to be closed for dinner. The hotel made a free thanksgiving meal for all guests. Very accomodating staff and hotel has all amenities including indoor pool that our kids really enjoyed. Would definitely come back! more

There was alot to like about this hotel. Let's start by mentioning that the staff at this hotel was GREAT! Friendly, efficient and genuinely concerned that our stay was a good one. At breakfast, employees would check to see if we needed anything. They were willing to go the extra mile. My wife and I had bought a frozen pizza... more

My husband and I made reservations for five rooms for our son and daughter-in-law's October 2009 wedding party and family. The hotel (1) accommodated our bed requests (2) extended the dining area to accommodate our large group (3) handled the logistics and keys for guest arriving at different times from different parts of the country (4) provided extra linens, hangers,... more

The hotel was a typical Marriott brand, always good. Friendly staff and good clean room. We were put in an end room that had lots of outside noise and the ac was very noisy. overall good though. more

We stayed here for two nights in July due to its location between San Francisco and Monterey. This hotel comes highly recommended - the staff was friendly, our room was very clean, and breakfast was delicious. I only stay at Residence Inn hotels while on business travel because I know I can expect a great stay, and this location was... more

We wanted a family friendly hotel for our stay in the Monterey area. After a lot of research, I decided to stay at the Residence Inn in Salinas. It turned out to be a great choice. We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite. It was compact, but well kept and clean. The kitchen was well stocked. The complimentary morning breakfast... more

Our home was flooded over the winter and we were forced to live at the Residence Inn for a month, we enjoyed our stay using all of the facilities like the heated indoor swimming pool and laundry room. Even though the breakfast wasnt special, it was nice to have something to eat in the morning, even if it was a... more

We stayed at the Residence Inn as part of a tour of California and this was the cheapest on the entire trip and one of the best. We booked a 1-bedroom suite, but were lucky enough to be upgraded to a 2-bedroom suite. The suites are modern, spacious and well equipped with a good kitchen. It's ideal accommodation for families.... more

We stayed the night of July 25, 2008. In short, our entire stay was ruined because there was no water pressure during our entire stay and we were unable to take a bath or shower. We arrived about 9:00 PM and found no water pressure and alerted the front desk staff. The front desk was neither apologetic nor did they... more
