Have found the Best Western Plus hotels to be a little more comfortable than regular Best Westerns. The hotel lobby was large and clean although there was a hallway just off the lobby packed with painting equipment. Stayed two nights. Reserved rooms on-line which is easy. Check in was fine, desk staff was friendly. They had rooms available on several... More

Owners kind of "harried" but, the balance of the staff was very good. Rooms clean with a good bed. Breakfast was good and plentiful. $8.00 cab ride from train station. Near Steinbeck museum. "fine" dining not near hotel.

- key didn't work, so I had to go back to get them redone - room reserved was unacceptable. Walked in, it smelled of smoke of an illegal nature. Complained to front desk. The nice lady showed up with a can of Lysol, which is not a solution to the problem, since I'm allergic to a great many things, smoke... More

The room was nice and clean. Breakfast was good. The front desk gal was great. Even though check out was 11:00 a.m. she let us come back to the room late to change. Check in went well. Nice restraunt nearby. Overall, a good stay.

With taxes and fees we paid just over $100 for our Saturday evening stay in October. This hotel was strictly a "stop and sleep" place for us on our PCH journey.....it was one of 8 hotels on our vacation. It served it's purpose and was actually better than the BW Plus property we stayed at while in Napa earlier in... More

This bargain option is a good choice when in the nearby Monterey Bay area on the weekend. We paid $98 bucks with a AAA discount on Saturday in early October. The place is right off the highway in a clean hotel strip. Decent pool and nice room for the money. There is a handy laundry room/gym. Beware, the exercise equipment... More

Was greeted by a very friendly young lady, Carly. We had come 2 hours earlier than the 3pm check in time. She went to see if our room was ready, she said another 20min or so. Husband and I waited in Lobby. She was very accomodating and provided me with information about traveling ot Monterey. Evening time, could not get... More

called early in the week and booked one night and asked if a second night would be available and was told "no problem"... upon arrival we decided to stay second night and they upped the rate $20..it's not the $20 it's the fact they didn't mention the rate increase when i booked originally. this is the second time B.W. did... I spent a couple of nights here two weeks ago and was not dissapointed. I stay at Best Westerns as my first choice as I can pretty much count on getting a good quality to price level and a consistently comfortable stay. I got a "jacuzzi suite" and was actually a little overwhelmed at the size of the two room... More

The hotel is quite nice and located in a working class neighborhood just off 101. It's easy to get to although somewhat confusing since it is just two doors down from another BW. The rooms were large but sparsely furnished and our wall AC unit was a litttle noisy. As noted in other reviews the breakfast room is crowded at... More
