Take a stroll out of the Ranch house when it's night and you will realize you are in a wonderful peaceful location; the occasional coyote calling in the distance; the hoot of an owl and as you look up thousands of stars you never knew existed. The light and sound polution are virtually none existent here. But jump into your... More

This is a lovely b&b with working winery on top. we arrived mid afternoon, enough time to be able to catch a little bit of sun by the pool, it was so peaceful out there we had the place to ourselves. Jim and susan were very welcoming. we had a little wine tasting on the night with another couple and... More

Way over priced .....dirty house , unfriendly staff , pool had bugs in it , breakfast sucked ....Susan the co owner ,Acts like its a large put down and a waste of time to intermingle and talk with her guests . The wines way over priced . The wine quality is marginal at best. No place local to have dinner... More

I was saddened to read this review from a guest who apparently stayed a year ago and just now submitted this. RustRidge is a working ranch with vineyards, a winery and thoroughbred racehorses tucked in the eastern hills of Napa Valley. The B&B is located in the original 1930's ranch house. The ranch has a wonderful history and it is... More

Why this property was perfect for me; 1. surrounded by gorgeous nature and wildlife, vineyard and pastures with grazing horses. 2. welcoming, gracious and hospitable hosts Susan & Jim. They are very helpful with recommendations to restaurants, directions and activities. 3. Clean, comfortable and cozy bedroom. The attached private bathroom had amenities; hair dryer, soap, shampoo& conditioner, bubble bath soap,... More

A little off the beaten path, near the town of Calistoga, Rust Ridge produces excellent organically grown wines .In addition to the winery, Jim trains horses which can be seen on the property and has a charming guesthouse which we did not explore. We were at the vineyard at harvest time and it Jim took us through part of the... More

RustRidge is a beautiful working ranch, that allows to experience Napa the way it looked like before the hordes of tourists started coming - surrounded by beautiful nature and with an opportunity to observe the life of a vineyard day to day. Hospitality of Susan and Jim was unparalleled, especially bearing in mind they had too look after not only... More

We were on a family trip to California (2 couples with 5 children aged 10 to 15). We really wanted to included a wine tasting experience in the Napa Valley to our vacation plan but were afraid the kids would get bored if we chose a tour (so we could drink a bit and not drive!) I'm so happy I... More

Nice ranch with a swimmingpool, tenniscourt, racehorses, labradors, cats and the most wonderful hosts. Susan and Jim are such welcoming and sweet making us feel at home right from the start. As we walked in the door we got a glass of wine and some snacks. Very good sauvignon blanc and zinfandel! Breakfast was fab with a lot to choose... More

Our stay at Rustridge was a wonderfully enjoyable experience, with Susan & Jim, their team in the B&B and Winery as well as the other guests we had the pleasure to spend time with. It is a very quiet serene place to stay (about 15min drive from Rutherford), but has all that is good about Napa to offer. To anyone... More

We had a great stay in this off the beaten track winery. This is a real family run winery that will give you a great experience and a perfect setting. It's close enough to drop into St Helena if you need anything or to eat but far enough to be a million miles away. A great place to see a... More
