Prager is just around the corner from a much better known winery neighbor, Sutter Home. But if you are interested in sweeter wines, you should certainly make this one of your stops in the Napa area. Their ports are absolutely fabulous. All the samples were wonderful. We even joined their club. The walls of their tasting room are covered with... More

We love port and we bought the ports from this winery! Yum! It is a very laid back experience for the tasting. I don't believe they have dusted in years! Good ports, fun place, a must stop. Trip Advisor has the review set up as a hotel review... this is not a hotel

We stopped in because they were recommended by another winery. So glad we did, I didn't taste anything I didn't like, which made the $20 tasting well worth it. Super nice brothers and a brother in law, who we enjoyed hanging out with in their kitchen sampling their port. Yes, we had to include one of our $1 on their... More

These guys know what they're doing! From the fun ambiance of the tasting room (dollars from everywhere adorn the walls) to each delicious wine it was worth the $20 tasting! If you like sweet wine you've got to make a stop here.

We had a lovely tasting at Prager, however we were extremely disappointed when we went Sunshine Grocery Store in St Helena and saw the exact same Noble Companion 10 year old Tawny Port for $15.00 less than we paid for at the Prager tasting (which cost $20.00). Needless to say that was my last tasting.

Thank you for your input. The pricing at Sunshine was marked incorrectly. We contacted the store, and they have fixed this. We hope to see you again in the future. More

Winery is off beaten path which makes the winery less populated. Had a picnic lunch while wine fasting in a lovely back yard. Wines are great. Hostess way pleasant and knowledgable. Would be a great romantic place to see

On my way home from Clearlake I stopped in to stock up on their Drizzle. If you have never had it, you have not lived. Drizzle is a decadent combination of 1/2 port and 1/2 chocolate sauce. It is to die for! Beyond that, I must say that their Royal Escrow and Aria White Port are a delight to the... More

So sad the little inn no longer being rented but the tasting room is something to see. We keep going back for the tastings as we love the port. And the chocolate port sauce is fantastic over ice cream. And the yummy carmelized by momma pecans and walnuts are worth a repeat trip which we did...two visits in four days!... More

We stopped by on our way back from an afternoon of tasting. Too late to taste, and our mission was to buy some of the chocolate port sauce...we did and will savor it over ice-cream, soon! We were just wondering if we can pick from the walls inside the tasting room, as they are covered in dollar bills! The grounds... More

I don't think I'd ever tasted port before my girlfriend and I stayed at The Inn on First in Napa. We found a bottle of Petite Sirah Port from Prager Winery & Port Works available in the common living room, and I enjoyed a glass both nights that we stayed there. Having been somewhat disappointed the previous day by a... More
