My fiancé and I stayed here with another couple to celebrate my birthday and our engagement. I have been to Napa three times and this is by far the nicest place I've stayed. Jeff had bottles of wine and a card ready to greet us and celebrate. The breakfast was phenomenal. The rooms and house are always clean and the... More

We were looking for a place to spend the night of our last minute elopement in Napa, and I contacted Black Rock Inn and several other websites requesting a 1 night stay (most of the nicer places require a two night minimum). Jeff got back to me immediately and offered us two beautiful suites (one for us and one for... More

We stayed in September 2013 and rented the separate cottage on this property. Jeff was a wonderful welcoming host with a deep affection and understanding of all things wine and very willing to share his extensive wine cellar. He is also a fantastic chef - breakfasts are not to be missed with fresh baking and full eggs, juice, etc. The... More

We stayed here for our October 2013 Honeymoon and just loved it! It was so quiet and relaxing, and Jeff the Innkeeper was an incredible host. He helped us navigate wine country and made us a delicious breakfast each morning. The Black Rock Inn is tucked away from everything, but located near all the wineries so it was a good... More

On our trip to Napa we were lucky enough to find Black Rock Inn. I was absolutely thrilled to stay in such a beautiful home with GREAT decor. Jeff was a wonderful host and provided us with not only first class hospitality but, great suggestions on what to see and do. The rooms had a very relaxing feel and the... More

We spent a portion of our honeymoon at Black Rock Inn a month ago after heavily researching many places to stay, and we were so glad we did! The property is beautiful, and just about a 5 min drive from St. Helena. Our room was toward the front of the main house and was very cute. The bathroom was large... More

We spent 4 days at the Black Rock Inn and it was the most wonderful mini vacation in Napa ever. Jeff, the Innkeeper , made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. But first let me say the inn is hidden off Silverado Trail so you don't hear any traffic at all. The inn is just beautiful and The... More

Jeff and The Black Rock showed us a terrific time. The house is only a few years old and was built originally as a bed and breakfast so the accommodations were ideal. Four rooms in the main house plus a separate house on the grounds which can accommodate three couples. Our room was very large with a nice private balcony... More

If you are visiting the Napa Valley, the Black Rock Inn is the place to stay. Jeff has created the perfect spot to relax and unwind after your Valley tour. He knows the best wineries, and restaurants, and makes the best Breakfast in the Valley. I will be back in the spring.

This beautiful Inn is truly a rare find. The suites are fresh and spacious with amazingly comfortable beds, divine linens and sumptuous towels. Every detail has been attended to and even the most discriminating travelers will be pleased. Inn Keeper Jeff is a unique host whose knowledge of area restaurants and wineries is invaluable. As much as we loved our... More
