Room size was really nice with a separate front room with a fireplace. However, the fireplace made the room smell like ash, which was unpleasant. Lovely pool but the day we wanted to hang out there, the gardener was power washing the walkway which was loud and we eventually went back in the room (the cleaning also woke us up).... More

A good "budget" (by St. Helena standards!) option to stay right at the edge of town. Breakfast is pretty weak, but coffee is good and it's a nice enough spot to start the day. Rooms are quite large with working fireplace and nice living area. Standard def TV's, if you care.

Great stay, our room looking out on the vineyard was like a small apartment, very comfortable. Coffee pot in room made good coffee and they left us water in the fridge each day. Breakfast served was adequate but could have had more of a variety. Pool and spa need updating. We would recommend this facility to other travelers without hesitation.... More

very well located cute little inn just minutes from downtown St. Helena and many of the area wineries. our room was very clean, and well maintained, but the finishes, beds, bedding etc are starting to get tired and are ready for a refresh. Don't get me wrong, our stay was a peasant one, but due to the age of the... More

This rather large B&B (really an Inn) is charming, friendly staff, large, well furnished rooms. Each suite has a living room area with fireplace, counter with sink, small refrigerator. The bedroom area has an alcove with additional sink. A patio overlooking a vineyard had a table and chairs to permit outside relaxation. A small pool and hot tub complete the... More

Stayed here only one delightful night - charming, old-fashioned, large rooms, with fireplaces, right on highway 29 (rooms were amazingly quiet), nice hot tub, and very well-organized breakfast room & items that pleased everyone. Each room had a deck that overlook vineyards. But the crowning glory is the zig-zag brick chimneys that sit atop each building. A very nice place... More

Priced fairly reasonably, this place is clean, handy and cozy - and perfect suites for comfortable wine country lodging. Nothing is new and shiny here, but the place works as reliable headquarters for s long weekend of surveying wineries. It's close to great dining and marvelous wineries. The fireplace we had was nice and made for a very nice late... More

Except for the lack-luster greeting from an elderly desk clerk, we enjoyed our three nights at Vineyard Country Inn. Following the advice of other reviewers, we had a suite on the 2nd floor overlooking the vineyard (and the B&B we stay in for our last visit) avoiding much of the road noise. This spacious suite was clean, modern and well... More

I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights for a work trip. It did the job, but I probably won't stay here again. The rooms are fairly large, with a separate area with a couch, fireplace, little kitchen area, but also very dated and mine smelled like a campfire. For five days. There's a pool you can go into, but... More
