So this place is a dump for napa valley. Seriously you can do way better. AVOID! The room is way out dated, smells bad, and it is NOT a nice bed and breakfast. I took pictures an uploaded them please look at them. (Leaking roof, nasty furniture, awful uncomfortable bed) Ugh. So disappointed. Most places offer wine socials (hello your... More

We lived in California for 15 years and previously stayed at the Vineyard Country Inn so when we came back (after five years) we decided to stay again. The property is beautiful. The rooms are all suites with fireplaces (unfortunately during our stay it was Spare the Air so you could not use them) and there is a main bathroom... More

We drove up to St. Helena's for one overnight, and were pleased to find this place. It's built on one and two levels, like a very upscale motel, with beautiful landscaping in the inner courtyards, and a vineyard on the other side of the structure. The accommodations are suites, with a very comfortable bed, a fridge, kitchen sink, complementary coffee... More

This is the second time we have stayed here. It is perfectly located in St Helena and very quaint. The rooms, which overlook a small vineyard, are well-appointed and very comfortable with a separate living area/fireplace. There are 2 sinks (one in the bathroom and one off of the bedroom) which is great for 2 people trying to get ready... More

We traveled with 2 other couples and had a great stay at this property. It is very well maintained and the rooms are great - there is a mini-fridge in ever room, balcony, 2 vanities (1 in and 1 outside of the bathroom) and a living area with a fire place. You can walk into St. Helena in about 10... More

My family stayed the night here while visiting vineyards in the valley. The buildings and garden are very attractive giving a village and homely character. Our daughter loved the pool and we enjoyed the breakfast in the family dining room overlooking vineyards ! Everyone was friendly and helpful and the room was spacious and well appointed. The great service was... More

This little hotel has a nice setting and is reasonably priced for the area (although still at about $320 at night in July is a lot of $$) You could spend another $100+ at stay at another nearby hotel but not get really too much more. Most of the units face the vineyards to the north and have a small... More

We have been to the Napa Valley many times but this is one of the best hotels we have found there for the price. We stayed in one of the two suites in the stand-alone building and it was very quiet although there was someone in the suite next door and others in the two-story building across the walkway. The... A gracious setting even though it fronts the main road through Napa Valley. The 2 medium sized rooms felt spacious enough and there's no way to top the working fireplace! It was unusually rainy an cool for our first two nights so a fire (with a dura log) was greatly appreciated! Very nicely cared for place, small pool and jacuzzi,... More

This is my second visit to the Inn, and I'm continuously impressed! Beautiful grounds and landscaping, gorgeous atmosphere and architecture, rooms with fireplaces and balconies overlooking a vineyard. Owner Ortwin Krueger makes you feel welcome like family in impeccably maintained rooms. Delicious fireside breakfasts make you feel as if you are in the French countryside, in the heart of Napa!...
