Stayed here only one delightful night - charming, old-fashioned, large rooms, with fireplaces, right on highway 29 (rooms were amazingly quiet), nice hot tub, and very well-organized breakfast room & items that pleased everyone. Each room had a deck that overlook vineyards. But the crowning glory is the zig-zag brick chimneys that sit atop each building. A very nice place... More

Priced fairly reasonably, this place is clean, handy and cozy - and perfect suites for comfortable wine country lodging. Nothing is new and shiny here, but the place works as reliable headquarters for s long weekend of surveying wineries. It's close to great dining and marvelous wineries. The fireplace we had was nice and made for a very nice late... More

Except for the lack-luster greeting from an elderly desk clerk, we enjoyed our three nights at Vineyard Country Inn. Following the advice of other reviewers, we had a suite on the 2nd floor overlooking the vineyard (and the B&B we stay in for our last visit) avoiding much of the road noise. This spacious suite was clean, modern and well... More

I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights for a work trip. It did the job, but I probably won't stay here again. The rooms are fairly large, with a separate area with a couch, fireplace, little kitchen area, but also very dated and mine smelled like a campfire. For five days. There's a pool you can go into, but... More

Thank you for your comments. We are in the process of planning a renovation to our property that should see completion in Spring 2015. We are very excited to welcome you back then! More

This little spot was the only room we could find in town over a busy weekend and last minute, unplanned trip. Expected nothing special but was pleasantly surprised. Huge room, living area, fire place, deck with view of mountain and next door vineyard, beautiful dining room with complimentary breakfast, cool little pool and hot tub, nice staff. Was also walking... More

So this place is a dump for napa valley. Seriously you can do way better. AVOID! The room is way out dated, smells bad, and it is NOT a nice bed and breakfast. I took pictures an uploaded them please look at them. (Leaking roof, nasty furniture, awful uncomfortable bed) Ugh. So disappointed. Most places offer wine socials (hello your... More

We lived in California for 15 years and previously stayed at the Vineyard Country Inn so when we came back (after five years) we decided to stay again. The property is beautiful. The rooms are all suites with fireplaces (unfortunately during our stay it was Spare the Air so you could not use them) and there is a main bathroom... More

We drove up to St. Helena's for one overnight, and were pleased to find this place. It's built on one and two levels, like a very upscale motel, with beautiful landscaping in the inner courtyards, and a vineyard on the other side of the structure. The accommodations are suites, with a very comfortable bed, a fridge, kitchen sink, complementary coffee... More

This is the second time we have stayed here. It is perfectly located in St Helena and very quaint. The rooms, which overlook a small vineyard, are well-appointed and very comfortable with a separate living area/fireplace. There are 2 sinks (one in the bathroom and one off of the bedroom) which is great for 2 people trying to get ready... More
