This is my second visit to the Inn, and I'm continuously impressed! Beautiful grounds and landscaping, gorgeous atmosphere and architecture, rooms with fireplaces and balconies overlooking a vineyard. Owner Ortwin Krueger makes you feel welcome like family in impeccably maintained rooms. Delicious fireside breakfasts make you feel as if you are in the French countryside, in the heart of Napa!... I just got back from staying at the Vineyard Country Inn. The staff is all very charming and nice. The room was a nice size with a separate living area. They give you free bottle water each day along with a nice continental style breakfast. My room was closest to the road and I had no trouble with noise like... More

We (3 of us) stayed 2 nights here this past weekend celebrating my mother's 75th birthday. We had plenty of room. No problem with noise. It was coveniently located and perfectly clean. The breakfast was delicious and a great experience.... can't wait to return.

Four couples stayed at Vineyard Country Inn for a weekend trip from San Diego, and we all thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Although a bit dated, the rooms were clean, comfortable and well maintained. The ony negative was the fact that the jacuzzi was out of order the weekend we statyed there, but that's a fairly minor detail. The Inn is... More

Every time we consider trying another accommodation in the wine country, we always end up saying "why mess with what we love?" Is it the Ritz? No, thank goodness! Could we get a better deal elsewhere? I don't believe so! Have we ever been disappointed? Absolutely not! This is a small hotel/inn. The rooms are clean, comfortable and welcoming. Breakfast... More

We went to St. Helena for a friends birthday and stayed at Vineyard Country Inn. The room was large with a balcony and a fireplace and the view was awesome, The residence was clean and and quiet, The continental breakfast had a variety of breads, cakes, fruits and beverages. We booked at the last minute so we were a little scared of what we might find. However, we were more than pleasantly surprised! Our room was more like a cottage than an inn with its own front door and walk way. A separate sitting area with fireplace (with log and matches) was waiting for us. There’s nothing like a... More

Immaculate, well decorated rooms with ample extras. Lots of closet space, comfy beds, large bathrooms, a dressing area with second sink and make up mirror, a wood burning fireplace, delicious continental breakfast with homemade coffeecakes, and warm, welcoming service. Can you tell we love this place? Someone in an earlier review mentioned morning light being a problem but they seem... More

This little hotel is soo cute. The rooms are so clean and nice. There's a fire place and views of the vineyards. It's right off of main street, so after you taste wines at all the local vineyards, you can stumble your way back to the hotel and relax by the pool before dinner. The beds are comfortable as well,... More

We stayed at Vineyard Country Inn for two nights. Considering the area's lodging prices, this was a very good deal. The rooms are large and well-furnished, housekeeping was immaculate (I asked the maid for firm pillows, and they were provided), and the vineyard/sunset view is beautiful. BUT ... road noise is substantial (woke me up several times), pool hours are... More
