Lovely grounds, nice staff, but when it's 95+ degrees outside, one doesn't want to sleep in a room that smells like a well-used fireplace. It was toxic! This place is GREAT!! Beautiful Inn with wonderful grounds. Even though it is right on the main road I could hear no traffic. The views from our room were of a lovely vineyard. Four female cousins in our fifties got together for the first time in five years...what a delightful stay we had! The grounds were beautiful, the breakfast was wonderful, the young woman who checked us in was very accommodating. The grounds were plush and beautiful. Room was large with a hugh fireplace. Only problem I had was the lighting in the bathroom. To get a lot of light you had to press a light switch that was on a motion detector, so once you were in the shower the light would go off. Had a room overlooking the pool... more
