I came to sacramento for a nice long weekend. My stay at the Sheraton was just no different than any where else. With do many choices you may as well stay some where else. The service is terrible, especially Stephanie from the PMB bar. More

Impressive high building with spacious lobby area with friendly staff and in good downtown location.. Offered choice of floors so no Priceling penalty here. Chose high floor on recommendation of previous reviewers and was not disappointed with the views. Other matters were however not so Grand. Wall paper in bedroom corridor was old fashioned and showing signs of age. A... More

Spent almost two weeks here in November. Great room and good service. Small but better than average health club. Lobby bar is a good gathering place. Restaurant was good. Even though it was incredibly busy, felt well taken care of. Although central to downtown I was amazed at the number of panhandlers and people sleeping in doorsteps in the area.... More

Upgraded to a Club Level room for the extra perks and lounge access. $30 a day. It's been closed the entire time we've been here. They never told me it would be closed for the holidays. Then they close room service early and closed the bar and restaurant. There is no food and we havent eaten since lunch. Full service?... More

We stayed at the hotel for a mini-vacation. We got a room on the 21st floor which had a nice view. There was a beautiful sunset one evening, and it was incredible to see. The beds are very comfortable. The pool was nice, but it was a bit too cold outside for us to swim. The fitness area looked good,... More

I've been staying at the Grand Sacramento for many years now (mostly on the weekends with my girlfriend/now fiancee). I've seen the hotel change a bit over the years, but it's always been a great experience. The changes have been mostly for the better (the rooms have been remodeled, at least the ones I've been in), although I have to... More

My husband and I stayed here while I attended a one day conference. The room was spacious and had a big window overlooking the downtown area. The bed was ultra comfortable and the pillows were like air - we liked both the bed and mattress so much we wrote down the names and models so we could buy them in... More

It would be unfair to expect the world from a Sheraton in downtown Sacramento but there is a lot that could be done to improve the experience at this hotel. The rooms are dated, the mattresses old. The amenities in the bathroom about as cheap as you can get. The rooms are soulless and cheerless--cheap carpet and dull decor. Come... More

“We would advise extreme caution when booking with this hotel. On October the 8th 2011 we had a prepaid booking with Sheraton Sacramento. Even though we showed the hotel staff the booking confirmation and all the printed emails we had received from them, they failed to find us in their system. Because of that, upon checkout the following day, we... More
