I stayed here with my husband for one night because I had a licensing exam in Sac early in the morning. A friend of mine had a modeling shoot at the hotel and said it seemed cool. It was dirt cheap, which I found odd because the pictures looked nice. Down to brass tacks. The woman in the room next... More

Really a cool place... A bit eclectic though. Stayed there twice about six months apart. My rooms were great... good size, quiet with nice bedding... BUT !!! Both times the pool was out of service and it turns out the pool was never in service! The pop & water machine was broken. had to walk to the nearest store, about... More

"Just like the authentic little neighborhood in which it resides", is how their website describes this place, and how right they are! On arrival we were greeted by a post-it stuck to the reception office door giving us a phone number to ring. So as visitors to the USA how was that to be done! Eventually with some local help... Wow, I guess this really IS a hispter hotel, cause that was the worst service/experience of my life. We booked a room on the night of an event at the hotel and were turned away after looking for osmeone to help us for 15 min by the rude manager who wasn't even apologetic about the error. She "blocked off" the... More

This motel offers you a nicely decorated, hip, big, clean room for a great price. Our room was painted bright green, there were purple chairs, a small desk, as well as a little fridge. The AC works well, there is wifi and a pool (we did not use the pool, but it looked nice). The bed was comfortable. The neighborhood... More

I thought the establishment was clean and staff friendly and helpful - not so sure I liked the neighborhood being a woman traveller - but I will go back again -

I travel to Sac on business quite often, but was tired of the usual picks. Oooh...a new chic modern hotel? I'll give it a whirl! Check in was a breeze! The room itself was quite cute. Modern furniture gave it a cool look which was nice to show off. Modern furniture sometimes can have that "cold" look, but the Greens'... More

The Greens is, as discussed in other reviews here, a great deal. The very clean, eco-friendly, comfortable rooms were an inexpensive and funky crash pad for us during 5 nights of business in Sacto. Our room was spacious and somewhat spartan but we had everything we needed, including free wifi and an ironing board. Other guests ranged from tattooed hipsters... More

artsy room, immaculate, extremely comfy bed. we stayed in room U. if it is typical of the $70 "superior" rooms, wow! the manager really cares about the guests, the rooms and the grounds. security is excellent so you don't have to worry about the "transitional" neighborhood. although they don't have a 24 hour desk, the night manager is always on... My husband and I stayed here for New Year's Eve. We paid $70 for the "superior" room. Regular rooms go for $50. Now, for htis money, you'd expect a pretty skeevy place. However, this place is awesome. Not fancy, but scruplously clean, and with amenities and finishings that you might not find in a room for twise the price. The... More
