The Citizen is a neat boutique hotel in downtown. The service staff was very helpful. The room was small in size bit decorated very nicely. The bathroom was also small but fully functional. The Grange restaurant was excellent. Terrific, high quality meal. I would definitely stay here again. more

This hotel was formerly a building of law offices. There is a library of law books just off the main desk. The elevators have amusing quotes about government. Very happy with our recent stay. Conveniently located 2 blocks from Sate Capital and within a short walk to all other museums. Old Town Sacramento, is located about 10 blocks west, but a very easy walk. We will definitely consider staying at the Citizens Hotel again. more
