This hotel has a lot of great history to it and has beautiful features which include a gorgeous courtyard, nice patios surrounded by fragrant honeysuckle. There was complimentary breakfast - which included cereal, granola, pastries, hard boiled eggs, coffee, milk and juices. The hotel staff were very nice and gave us passes to some of the local tasting rooms -... more

My wife and I stayed here two nights while on an extended trip to Sonoma and Napa during the first weeks of May. We were given a very favorable rate on a booking through a wine industry representative after she was unable to get us into the nearby vineyard guesthouse we were initially offered. We didn't spend a lot of... more

This was our first visit to Napa Valley and the Rancho Caymus Inn (RCI) chosen after researching the online's (ExOrbHot.com). We are both professionals and we vacation well. Check in was okay. They were not at all crowded (time of year - spring break) but we weren't allowed to upgrade to a king for whatever reason ("I'm not allowed to... more

We stayed in room 207 and my sister and her husband stayed in room 208 (at $300 per night)- this is on the opposite side of the hotel as the street. We heard absolutely NO street noise(or any other noise for that matter). Our room was nice, cute little fireplace, small bar and seating area with an overall Mexican theme.... more

This was our 6th trip to Napa valley, but our 1st opportunity to stay at Rancho Caymus. We were treated like VIP's from the moment we arrived. (we're not!) While checking us in, Naydia offered to make any reservations we might need. We mentioned Castello di Amorosa and she said, "No problem! I'd be happy to arrange that for you".... more

Just returned from Rancho Caymus for the second year in a row, and we will no doubt be returning for a third time. Especially since now there is an "Inn Cat" (actually kitten) named Sleepy who lounges at the front desk. This year we were placed in a second floor room with a fireplace which we did prefer to the... more

Just returned from the Napa Valley and the Rancho Caymus Inn. Prior to booking, we could not find very much about this place but went on the recommendation of a firend. This was a great little Inn located in Rutherford and convenient to everywhere. Overall, the inn has the feeling of a hacienda, with lots of wood beams, adobe stylings... more

What an awesome place to spend a romantic weekend in the Napa Valley for our honeymoon. The staff were so accommodating and even upgraded us for our special occasion. The wood burning fireplace was such a treat, not to mention the jaccuzzi tub with the stained glass window! If you are looking for something out of the ordinary with a... more

We really liked this quaint hotel, but will only go back if we get a room on the 2nd floor. The noise you hear if you're in a first floor room is just unacceptable. Even if the guests above you are talking normally and walking around a bit, the noise is somehow amplified. The suites are spacious and charming and... more
