We've stayed here 3 times now. Small, relatively simple hotel with rustic charm. Location is great, and prices are, too, for Napa. Eat at Alex on property, or walk next door to the amazing Rutherford Grill. Elizabeth Spencer's tasting room is also across the street. Round Pond just down the road. My wife had run a marathon the morning we... More

We wanted to be close to St Helena, but didn't want to pay for it. Rancho Caymus was a perfect compromise. Nice, big room, although dated as other reviews have mentioned, but perfect for crashing after spending the days tasting wine and the nights stuffing our faces at excellent restaurants. We had room 203, which had a little balcony and... More

My husband and I stayed here last fall. It was our first trip to Napa Valley and after much research we settled on the Rancho Caymus Inn. We were with another couple and all four of us were happy with our choice! The Inn is old and the rooms could use a little updating but we still loved it. Our... More

The exterior of the Rancho Caymus makes it look old mission-style charming and the lobby doesn't dispel that notion. The desk clerk was friendly and helpful getting us checked in. The courtyard is beautiful with all kinds of plants and flowers and a very nice fountain. The room was large and clean. The furnishings are a rugged, rough-hewn style that... More

The rooms themselves are a bit older but large and clean, and come with a fireplace that is quite enjoyable after a long day of wine tasting. It is located in a fairly central location in Napa, and a couple of restaurants right beside it. One evening we were there, the power went out for a couple hours - the... More

My wife and I were looking for a hotel in the middle of Napa and Rancho Caymus was perfect. The room was spacious and clean. It looked like an old hacienda. Our shower worked perfectly, good pressure and very hot. The courtyard outside our door was beautiful, with flowers and a fountain. We ate at the Rutherford Grill one night,... More

We had never been to this area before and were a bit overwhelmed by the many places to stay! After some research, we decided on the Rancho Caymus Inn and it turned out to be a good choice. The Inn is old but definitely very charming. The rooms are large and cozy - we loved the separate sitting area and... More

The Inn is dated like an old Hacienda with large rooms containing fireplaces and small balcony/patios. The location is great just fetes away from Hwy 29, Rutherford Grill, BV Winery and Elizabeth Spencer. Across the street is a market with Mexican breakfast and lunch/dinner grilled items. Alex Italian restaurant located in front of the Inn. Rutherford location, price for the... More

Pretty property, grossly overpriced. Bedrooms without night tables, I had to place the water and my glasses on the floor. The shower provides a trickle of water that is insufficient for showering. It is so little that it is nearly impossible to regulate the temperature. In addition, if someone opens a faucet or flushes a toilet you get burned. They... More

Very nice place but a bit dated. The carpets were stained and the bathroom fixtures were not up to par. Amenities in the room were average and not commensurate with the price. Location for wine country is perfect. Liked the room layout.
