We stayed at Auberge du Soleil with friends for two nights and had the most amazing time. The food and service in the restaurant was superb, the room and attention to detail was among the best in the world. We particularly appreciated the expresso machine and the complimenatry amenities in the pantry area. The rooms were exquisite and the throughtful... more

We were only staying one night on our way back to Tahoe. This was a great place to relax and enjoy a really great dinner with a good selection of wines available. Don't be put off by the dress code they mention in their restaurant notes - there were several people in jeans and casual tops. The room was comfortable... more

Auberge du Soleil is one of the nicest places we've ever stayed, and we've been fortunate enough to stay at some top-notch resorts. The rooms and surrounding area are magnificent. The service is awesome, every staff person we encountered were gracious and professional. You will spend alot to stay at Auberge, but it's worth it. As silly as it is,... more

Pros: The rooms are very very spacious. Great showers, strong pressure. Nice amenities in the bathroom. The pool is spectacular overlooking a valley. It's very serene to lounge there, read a book, dip in the pool (not very big), order a smoked salmon pizza. Excellent service all around. Cons: Pricing, it's really at the top of the bar in Napa... more

I travel a great deal. This place ranks at the top of most of my lists for hotel experiences. Amazing setting, great rooms, great service, amazing location. You feel like you are in the south of France or Italy. Upgrade to a room with a view of the valley for sure. We did two days of Limo-driven wine tours in... more

I stayed here with my boyfriend and two friends, and we were floored at how beautiful the rooms were. We felt like we had a little slice of heaven. We got the suite with a living room, fireplace, large balcony/terrace and amazing mountain view. We woke up on Saturday and opened the French doors in the bedroom to watch the... more

I have seen some reviews here that are negative, and when you spend a lot on a hotel your expectations are high. The quality of all aspects of our stay was consistant with the price, and was among the best experiences we have had at a top-flight luxury hotel. The setting is pristine, the hillside suites are incredible. The food... more

My wife and I just spent 3 nights here celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary. All of our expectation were exceeded. The service was outstanding, the suite was beautiful and the view was amazing. The spa was enjoyable and well staffed, the fitness center provided all the equipment one might need and was well stocked with water and towels. Our meal... more

The rooms are so wonderfully decorated. Nice big soaking tub in the bathroom. Covered lanai thats perfect to enjoy your espresso in the mornings. We have the same espresso maker at home from William Sonoma its a nice touch but there's a lot of them to appreciate at this resort. The service was top notch. Every associate we encountered was... more
