We went to the Doubletree for a last minute July 4 vacation. The location is very good. Right off of the 101, 25 minutes from Sonoma, 10 minutes from Santa Rosa. The grounds are very nice. There is an excellent Japanese restaurant right on the property; on of the best that I have been to in the Bay Area. The... more

This hotel was very comfortable. The pool was nice. The rooms were large and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. This hotel was not too busy during our stay and we never saw a doorman for the 3 nights we were there. The staff were friendly but could have been more knowledgeable, they indicated that the breakfast buffet was available everyday... more

The facilities were a little dated however the staff was very helpful. We especially enjoyed a complimentary wine and cheese tasting and the chocolate chip cookies. Our room was near the gym and pool so there was a some noise of people going through the gate. The gym had all the essential equipment, headphones, and water. The room was clean... more

We stay here a couple times a year. It is generally a sad time for us, as we are usually turning in a dog we have trained for service work. Because of this, there are usually 5-10 puppy raisers here at a time, so it is fun. Check in is always a breeze. We really love that the ground floor... more

Dropped in paid $115 per night stayed 2 nights (Sat & Sun). Front desk has wine tasting coupons. We discovered this from hotel staff. We were never offered them when we inquirred at the desk. Awkward. We took a wine tour. Pricey and no lunch included. Weekends: Request room away from the event/reception room. Got very loud. Nice little Gym... more

Got an exceptional rate for 2 nights from Priceline, paid less than a third of the posted rate. Overall a good hotel for your visit in the Sonoma area; good size, clean room. Large parking lot, helpful staffs. We were assigned to a room close to the far North end of the hotel which has a secondary elevator which takes... more

We love to hear that our guests have enjoyed a great stay. Thank you so much for you comments and feedback and especially the mention of our 2nd elevator. I am sorry to hear that you did not have a “10” experience at our pool. We do heat our pool seasonally as opposed to year round so it may not...

The Doubletree is a very large hotel and often busy with conventions, weddings etc. The lobby is large and has an area with fireplace and arm chairs. There is internet access, but a charge for printing. The reception staff are welcoming. However, there seems to be only 1 elevator near reception so there is usually a wait to use it.... more

Thank you so much for your review! I would just like to tell you about some amenities at our hotel you may not be aware of. First one is that we do have a second elevator towards the back of the hotel. The second one is we do offer complimentary printing with a feature we call printer on. At the...

Our family spent 3 wonderful days in Wine Country for our son's 21st birthday celebration. It started with their delicious cookies upon checkin which were YUMMY! The happy hour at the bar was awesome and very reasonably priced! If you're inito sushi, the best sushi restaurant in Sonoma County (Hana) is a walking distance from the hotel. There's free computers... more
