First of all the front desk is completely clueless and the general manager is even worse. We had to stay at the Howard Johnsons for a few nights in between moving to rocklin, CA, from Texas. Overall, I think we had a great time staying there. The rooms were clean and spacious. Beds were kind of hard, and the sheets scratcy. But, I choose this motel because it served breakfast and I was pretty disappointed in that. I hate styrofoam cups. Great service. The rooms are spacious and in excellent condition. The lobby has a large screen TV but the best part was the made to order omlettes and waffles in the lobby. Highly recommend! more
