This is the fourth time I have stayed at the Mission Inn. I admit that one of the reasons I have stayed here so many times in the last few years is because I have a girlfriend that lives just down the block -- in the historic district where there are blocks of hundred year old homes like hers. Even... More

My wife pre-paid a pool package for my birthday weekend. The package included $25 credit for poolside drinks and/or snacks, valet parking, and two cupcakes!. We had never stayed there before even though we had visited and eaten at their restaurant in the past. We arrived about two hours before the 4 p.m. check in time. I didn't expect to... More

I stayed at the Mission Inn over Christmas and had a great time. My family and I wanted somewhere local (Southern California) to escape to for a few days and the Mission Inn was perfect. No two rooms are alike, and part of the fun of staying in the Inn is walking around the labyrinth of stairs and passages that... More

this hotel is a treat. If you need to go to Riverside, you need to stay here. Truly an oasis in the desert. We had a basic room because of a group rate. I would recommend upgrading. The grounds are great. the restaurants are great. Exploring the grounds is so much fun.

I had a good stay here, but they did fail one service "test." First, the room I stayed in (their basic "deluxe" king room) was huge. The A/C was difficult to control, but I eventually figured it out. It overlooked one of their restaurants which meant I had background noise until about 11pm which was slightly annoying. Still, the bed... More

This is listed as a historical hotel. It boasts beautiful and varied architecture while keeping a wonderful mission look and feel. There is a spacious lobby with wonderful sitting areas. The rooms are spacious and include a flat screen tv and a tub large enough to soak in. There are even nice robes included (though we didn't really need or... More

Pre-checked into the hotel a little after 2pm. Was told we would be contacted when our room was ready. The hotel was very crowded. It was a Saturday and there were a few weddings taking place as well as tours of the hotel. Still hadn’t heard from the front desk at 4:30 so we went and asked if our room... More

What a surprise to find such an oasis in the middle of the desert! When my son was invited to participate in a week-long soccer tournament in Riverside this summer I did what the other families did, started with the Marriott. Fortunately for us, there were no "discounted" rooms left. When images of the Mission Inn Hotel and Spa popped... More

This is a beautiful, historic hotel located in the middle of nowhere, in Riverside, California. The room was big and clean, but it took really a long time for the hot water to come on in the shower. They must have historic plumbing. During my stay, the staff varied from very nice and helpful to incompetent and insulting. I ate... More

So this beautiful historic hotel is only 45 minutes away.... that makes it our perfect weekend getaway for just my husband and I every year! We have gone in the middle of summer to Christmas time when the lights are beautifully lit! There is nothing bad you can say about this place unless all you want is glass and steal... More
