Only stopped here on way from Death Valley to Sequoia. But it was an excellent place to stop. Room very well decorated, fridge and Microwave handy, very clean. Nice staff. Simple but useful breakfast, looked like it was running out but they replenished as necessary. Building doesn't look like much but worth the stay if you're passing through. more

We recently stayed here for 3 nights. The rooms are small but nicely furnished and very clean, but there are a few issues. The bedding is extremely threadbare, and the mattress covers aren't fitted to the beds or tied down by anything, and tend to collect in uncomfortable lumps. I've stayed here for work before. The place is ok but it doesn't have many anmenites - no pool, hot tub, exercise room. The breakfast is basically cereal and coffee. The location isn't the greatest. The price, however, is pretty good, and the desk people were always nice; one brought a hair dryer to my room for me. more

My company stayed at the vagabond for 12 days while on buisness in Ridgecrest. While the rooms were always clean. We had a few issues with getting the reservation price we were quoted from the hotel and extremly poor to no internet connection. This is definatly a hotel we will never stay at again. more

We stayed at the Vagabond Inn on our way back from Death Valley. What a find! The registration clerk was friendly and professional. We stayed in one of the recently-renovated rooms. Good, basic, clean furnishings that are just a step above what one would expect at a motel. Tenth night free card and discount coupons for future stays. more
