The little run around on the floor, jump to us, pee and poo on the carpet. The house nicely decorate, breakfast portion too small. Good location, convenient to go to national park, supermarkets. Well luckily the price is reasonable, if you have a tight budget, you can give it a try.

Arrived at BevLen to find house locked and on one at home, returned after a coffee in the town to still find house locked up. After a short wait a car arrived only to inform us that the owner was ill and not able to accommodate us. Apparently she had sent an EMail which we had not received, she also... More

One could not ask for a better stay. Warm welcome, comfortable bed, outstanding space the owner let's you use: lot's of books, cosy places to sit, tons of interesting antique items around you, most of them put to use. Hot tub, nice landscaping. Bev is the nicest host you can imagine. We left at 6am, so we didn't have the... More

It was so nice to come "home" to Bev Len Haus. We had to be in that area last minute for a work meeting, Bev was so accommodating and welcoming. I would totally recommend her home, very comfortable, quiet and charming. Thanks Bev! Erin and Kirk

My wife and I stayed here for one night during a two week roadtrip of California, Nevada, Utah and Arizona in July 08. We made a bit of an effort to stay out of the chain hotels (Super 6, Best Value, Days Inn etc.) and this place is a great reminder of why that is a good idea. Beverley was... More

This was the first stopover on our road trip from Los Angeles and was arranged at short notice due to a late change of plan. After miles of long, straight roads through the desert we were initially a little bemused - Ridgecrest seemed to have little about it other than being the town serving the China Lake Naval Weapons Centre.... Bev is a wonderful host and her breakfasts are always delicious. The rooms are comfortable and feel very homey. The best part of staying at BevLen is meeting the other guests and making new friends. WiFi internet is provided by AnchorFree.

This place is friendly, clean and a bit of home. Bev and Len have lived in Ridgecrest since the 60's so they know the town and are helpful in selecting places to see and where to eat. This is a traditional B&B with no TV in the rooms, but they have one in the guest living room. With only 3... More

When staying in the small desert town of Ridgecrest, (on your way onwards - to Las Vegas, Death Valley, etc) you are usually confronted with "the usual suspects" - aka Quality Inn, Motel 6, etc. What you can find, with a bit of luck, is the quaint and charming BevLen Haus. If you like the Bed and Breakfast experience, this... More
