Not necessarily a "dive" but lacking in much needed updating and just plain wore out. As a previous reviewer stated, it's a tough call. Not trashy, all the facilities were functional and not gross but the place is in need of serious overhaul. All the furniture was broken down and roughed in repairs on walls, etc. Paper-thin walls so any... More

This place is hard to rate. It is really very low end but reasonably clean. The main problem with this place is that it is right across the street from a train that runs about every 20 minutes. Paper thin walls make for a lot of noise from outside and the people above you. I think over the two nights... More

Like other reviews say, can be a bit noisy in the early morning, but otherwise clean facilities, free in room wifi, free parking, microwave/fridge, very nice owners, downtown redwood city nearby (short drive). Really great value, especially considering that nearby hotels often don't have one or both of in-room wifi and free parking.

As far as the accommodations they where good "IF" you can get this hotel at 49.99 a night, I believe if your paying 69.99 a night its to much. The room was clean, the beds comfortable, the tv channels where good, and the neighborhood was safe enough. There wasn't ever a issue with people standing outside at night and I... More

This place is a dump. Hands down one of the most horrible places to stay. I suggest saving the money and just sleep in your car for the night ... even if your car is a Yugo. Wallpaper hanging off the walls, pool is now a garden so thats out of the question. Family owned and lived in it appears,... More

Hotwire dishonestly sells this one as a two star hotel. It's a one star on a good day, and don't be surprised if you get a bad day. "Free internet" is nonexistent. They don't do wake-up calls, they tell you to set the broken alarm clocks instead - then blame you for the fact that their alarm clocks are broken.... More

This is not the kind of place that is kid friendly or even grownup friendly. It is too close to the main rd and train. Not much parking. They do have a frig and microwave but no coffee maker. The bed was really old and nothing covered the box spring which was real dingy. It might be the least expensive... More

This place is very good for the price. The room is large. The bathroom was clean. Everything was working. The only problem was that I had to turn on six lamps to get adequate lighting. The cable TV worked fine. The bed was comfortable. I had to turn on the heater which worked OK. The place was clean and the... More

The rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly. However, I wouldn't consider that it offers the same value as others on my trip. I had seen rooms on the internet the day before for $45+tax but when I arrived I was told the only room left was $55+tax and that the price difference was because it was... More
