Where to start. The "renovations" are a joke. The windows that would open didn't have screens. Carpet in the room we were in was filthy. No coffee makers, hangers, soap, shampoo. A lot of strange people in and out of the rooms who did not appear to be staying at the hotel. Elevator made a terrible noise and lurched. The... More

A decent hotel. I chose this place based on reviews/photos and was overall satisfied. Enclosed parking lot felt secure and gave me peace of mind for my vehicle. During my stay in January 2015 the hotel was in the process of being remodeled. Clean room (recently remodeled but not the best craftsmanship) and comfortable bed. There was a slight scent... More

Interacting with the staff was a bummer part of our trip. Well the hotel is okay. It is very loud and didn't feel very secure. The windows are very thin & the locks are very wobbly and people stood on the balconies drinking but they did not stay all night. thin walls. Price was fair to room type. First time... More

We recently visited this hotel. We were very concerned because of some of the previous negative reviews. The pictures were pretty gross. Fortunately, we didn't see anything like that. Our room was clean, bur the remodeling job was a done with little attention to a nicely finished product. On the carpet there were footprints from the painters and they obviously... More

Went on a mini vacay and stayed in the suite. First time there. Rooms nicely renovated. Excellent staff (Dee) was very nice! My children LOVED the aquarium and thought it was a beautiful touch to the newly renovated motel. Walking distance to pier. Plenty of places to grab a quick bite to eat. Definitely looking forward to our next trip!... More

My husband and I stayed here for my first ever trip to CA. We loved this place - it's a pretty 3 block walk to the pier and beach, and within walking distance of about half a dozen restaurants (we Highly recommend the 'Cozy Cafe' for breakfast - just 1/2 a block down and across the street!). Our room was... More

We arrived in the evening to find we were very much deceived by the internet. The hotel is obviously a local flop house druggie hotel. The smell of dope in the air as we walked into our room. There was hair on our sink, toilet, bath tub, and floors. Our bed sheets were not changed in between visitors. We brought... More

Not a boutique motel! It's a travelodge that has been badly painted. Possibly the noisiest motel I have EVER been to. Not only were the Russian neighbors partying and Braveheart banshee screaming until 530 in the morning, but the noise from the PCH is unbearable! I've stayed next to freeways that weren't as loud as this! It may have something... More

I loved the DAILY room service .The rooms , floors ,beds were clean.I liked the parking --could view my car from window , the only thing I would recommend-- is try to get rooms away from busy street because of noise otherwise wait until after 11:00 pm for calm and quiet .Noise starts about 8:00 am . I wore earplugs... More
