My wife and I stayed here for a night while visiting Lassen Volcanic Park and Lake Shasta. The location is immaculate if you intend to visit both parks since the inn is accessible by Highway 5. We find our room (second floor, Room 222 I think) cozy and quiet, and we have a good view of Mt. Shasta. Really a... more

I'd give this a 7 out of 10. Close to I-5, but away from noise. A nor frills kinda place. There is NO elevator, so get a ground floor if you have problems with stairs, or a lot of luggage! And I had problems getting logged on, but that wasn't important to me-may be for YOU! As a single female,when... more

After driving over the mountain in the snow, we decided to stop in Redding and stay the night. We chose the Best Western as I normally trust them to be clean and comfortable- especially for a quick overnight stay. This particular hotel was a nice experience... The good: - Clean room - Comfortable bed - Good free breakfast - Very... more

I can't believe all the bad reviews that have been written about this hotel. The front desk clerk was so helpful and cheerful, the breakfast had everything you could want and more, the beds are super comfy, and the rooms are newly remodled. I will definitley be staying here again. more

We stayed here overnight during a trip from Portland to Los Angeles. We arrived WITH A CONFIRMED RESERVATION at 9 p.m. but had to wait 45 minutes to get our room because they were hanging wallpaper. Other guests also had to wait. The front desk girl was dismissive and rude. Once in our room, workers continued to hang wallpaper in... more

We stayed just one night at the HI Express. When we got there though, the desk clerk explained that it would no longer be an Holiday Inn Express as of the following day. Everything in the room was nice. A bit small compared to other HI Express' that we've stayed in but very clean. Good standard continental breakfast. Staff was... more

You never know what you're going to get when you pull of the road for the night. We were quite surprised by the Holiday Inn Express in Redding. When we walked in we were greeted by a friendly and helpful employee who checked us in and gave us information on where we could find late-night dining and a coffee stop... more

We chose this hotel because we were a large group and all wanted to be in one room. Our room was very nice, slept 6 comfortably. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. Only one bathroom made it a challenge in the morning, but we made it work. Breakfast was O.K. cereal, fruit, juice and the like. We didn't... more
