Drove 10 hours and was tired. Got a room and was presently surprised. We had a microwave, and a frig. In the morning we couldnt find out cat. thought she had gotten out. I went and talked to the front office and they said look under the bed in the box springs and yep there she was.

After a late night of driving back home to Portland, or, we stopped in Redding to stay at the motel 6 at about midnight. $79 inch a senior discount. Young girl asked for my Ore State Driving license. I pulled out the perfectly legal & valid, temporary paper license I had been given when I renewed my license recently (while... More

Reserved online the night before I arrived. Arrived past 11 pm. Little old lady who checked me was an absolute doll. Very friendly. Room was in the back, ground floor, just as I'd requested (Have a bad knee so going up and down stairs is a bit tough sometimes. This motel has two floors, no elevator) Room was clean and... More

Checked in late on November 21 2013 and in the room above me a couple was making noise for hours and hours, (If you know what I mean) I had driven over 600 miles to get there and became totally disgusted. I left the hotel after only being there about 3 + hours as I didn't want anything to do... More

The room was clean. Ice Machine worked. Pretty decent Cable selection for a Motel 6, Wi-Fi was excellent although it will cost you $3 bucks. No fridge, micro, coffee maker or clock. You could find a better value in Redding but this was okay. Enjoyed the feral cats running around. This gets my luke warm endorsement. Tiger THE Cat.

Worst hotel 6 ever! Hat to play for slow Internet that only let one person on at a time. The room was fine, and clean enough but it was a bit shady. My main complaint was the terrible Internet it was extremely slow and only allowed for one device to be active at a time. Not to mention it cost... More

A drop in stay with no reservation, but got just what we needed, Accessible, Non-smoking, Pet friendly. Only downside is that in this as in many accessible rooms, there is no counter around the bathroom sink. Don't know why they think that an accessible room doesn't deserve a counter when all the other rooms do. Friendly staff.

The staff was friendly, but the things you usually take for granted at a hotel were all missing or woefully inadequate. I've told nearly everyone I know that this is the Less-Tel, not a Mo'tel. There is less of everything here. I stayed at this hotel the week of September 15-21st, and would not recommend it to anyone. Checked in,... More

Torrential rain made me decide to cancel camping and headed for this Motel 6 without a reservation. Staff on arrival was warm and welcoming. Had room # 215, no frig. but it was adequate. It's near freeway and walking distance to Denny's and a mexican restaurant plus many fast food places nearby. As for noisy, lucky me, I remove my... More

Requested a top floor, corner, non smoking room - got exactly that which is rare. Room was dated but functional. The motel has a decent size pool and lots of parking and is close to McDonalds, iHop and other eating places and 20 minutes from Shasta cavern.
