We had a nice check in and enjoyed the pool, then 5am the power went out and No Phone, No Shower,No Internet, or power, all the things I paid for. I went to the office and the Man Owner was very rude about the situation, nasty, I think of you are in the hospitality business you should just be gracious... more

On our trip back home from the southern ca area, we decided to stay in Redding again. We had a bad experience a week prior at another "budget" type motel (that ended up charging us over $100) so we decided that if we were staying at a rundown, no frills type of place, we might as well pay accordingly. Boy,... more

We tried another budget hotel down the street for slightly more with negative results, this one was much better and at $46 a night (when we stayed) it was a good deal! This Motel 6 was clean, if spare, and felt very safe. All the other guests seemed to be travelers. The bed was neat and comfortable, the room had... more

Everything here is downscale.... there is no art on the wall, cheap towels, cheap bedspreads, no free internet, cigarette butts all around the property, even outside our door, and we don't smoke! Some of the other guests were kind of rundown looking; we wondered if the city was housing the homeless there. In addition, the beds were very uncomfortable. However,... more

A very clean and comfortable place. Friendly and helpful staff. Outside temperature was 102 degrees, but it was nice and cool in the room. Very good A/C! All the basics you need with no frills. Highly recommended for the budget traveler. Pool was nice, but a bit too cold to swim in. Free coffee in the morning. Great location a... more

I travel thru Redding at least 4 times a year and have tried several motels over the year After a bad experience at the Howard Johnsons I drove down the street to Motel 6. Motel 6 is is your basic motel, nothing fancy a clean room and that's it. No free breakfast, coffee in your room, mini frig, microwave, iron,... more

This Motel 6 was by far the best that I have ever been to. My husband is a no frills person so he loves Motel 6. This was to a quick stopover in Redding on an already long trip. The hotel staff, grounds, the accomodations and just about everything was far above anything I was expecting. Clean, comfortable, quiet and... more

I stayed at this hotel for six days. It had been many years since I stayed at a Motel 6 because you usually get what you pay for. Not so with this location. It was a great experience for someone looking for a no frills basic hotel that is clean and customer oriented. The office staff were all extremely helpful,... more

Needed affordable lodging for the night. This met our expectation. It was about 100 degrees when we arrived & we were grateful for the AWESOME a/c in the room. Orginally, we requested a West facing room, based on another review, however, upon arrival realized it was on the sunny side & probably would be the hottest. Without issue, they switched... more
