Upon arrival after a long day of driving we first noticed that the property wasn't well lighted. During check- in at about 1024 pm the agent was very friendly and gave us tips on where to eat. After arriving at our room we noticed suspicious people loitering outside in the parking lot which was concerning as they weren't guests. In... More

I stayed at this location in April, the rooms were clean and bright. The staff were friendly and quite helpful. I am so pleasesd they updated the flooring and got rid of the old carpeting. Compared to the room I stayed in ,in a differnt part of town this was heaven.

We stayed for just one night on our way from Eureka to Sacramento. We didn't have great expectation as it was Motel 6 but we were pleasantly surprised! The rooms look brand new with bright colors and new hardwood floors. The room and bathroom were extremely clean. They had flat screen TV with all channels including HBO. This is definitely... More

We were passing through and stayed here with our family, including the dog. It was comfortable and updated. Wood floors (laminate) we liked and the T.V, sink, counters and colors were all updated. Bed was comfortable for motel 6 standards actually. A con for us was the Internet cost extra and parking was limited. You will want to upgrade to... More

I like the standard "new" Motel 6 decor. Very minimalistic and "Ikea"-like, perfect for the budget solo travelers. However, this one gets the lowest grade from me, compared to other Motel 6 I've stayed at. The room has no heat and even when you turn on the heater/AC combo, cold air came out. The front desk was not helpful with... More

My Daughter and I were traveling back from Washington after visiting my brother the day after Christmas and it was hard to leave him since we haven't shared a Christmas for over 50 years together. In route back to Tucson, we checked ahead for an inexpensive motel and we called Motel 6 South in Redding California and made reservations. When... More

This is the basic Motel 6. Clean, firm bed for a convenient late night check in. Our room was on the upper floor down five rooms from the end of the building closest to the I-5 interstate freeway. That distance was far enough away so traffic noise was minimal.

In a long driving trip from central California to Corvallis, Ore., I needed an inexpensive place to crash midway. Based on Trip Advisor recommendations, I chose this Motel 6 out of 3 in Redding. I arrived after dark in a rainstorm and had no trouble finding the motel. Reception was cheerful, attentive and friendly, by Angelica. Because I am AARP,... More

My son and I were driving through Redding and needed room for the night. saw this motel had good ratings so we tried it out and we were very happy with the room. simple but cheap. Clean room, beds were just fine and I loved the $50 price after spending $119 for a Best Western in Reno that wasn't that... More

This Motel 6 is fine (for a Motel 6, of course). But the optional Wi-Fi absolutely sucks. I was informed that the $2.99 (per day) Wi-Fi was too slow for video, so I opted for the $4.99 per day plan. I wanted to watch video of a cable news show that isn't offered on the room cable T.V. First, it... More
