Woman at check in ignored us for some seven or eight minutes whilst she chatted on the phone. Rooms booked through Expedia are at back of hotel and noisy overlooking a road. Breakfast was OK, but compared to other hotels somewhat limited Overpriced for what it offers more

Typical La Quinta - clean rooms, comfortable beds, etc. I don't like staying in such a huge property usually, since you have to walk so far from the parking lot, but that's just my personal preference. Everything was fine, the breakfast was good, the waffles were great - my girlfriend kept commenting on how the waffles were better here than... more

My husband, myself and our kitty stayed here on April 21, 2009 on our way home to British Columbia. We like La Quinta Inn's because they seem to be pet friendly. This is not a new property, but we found it to be well maintained and very clean. Our room was very comfortable with a King sized bed on the... more

The web site says : "You will feel a sense of calm the minute you enter the airy lobby...." and that is exactly right. ( see pictures on their web site ). I find the decorating throughout the public areas and in the rooms to be just the right blend of relaxed and stylish. One foyer was even accented with... more

My daughter booked a non-smoking room through AAA. We arrived at 7:00 P.M. and all they had left were smoking rooms. She showed them the confirmation stating "non-smoking" only and they just shrugged their shoulders and said it must have been "a computer error." They had only two smoking rooms left. She went up to look at one of them... more

We checked in with a bubbly clerk that was very sweet. Our room was in the back of the hotel. We were awakened in the wee hours by teenagers slamming doors, laughing, and cursing loudly. Breakfast starts at 6am and we wanted an early start. Not having slept well (room was comfortable & clean) with the noise in the hallway,... more

We just finished a four night stay here at the La Quinta in Redding. We thought Redding would be a good location for exploring the various parks within an hours drive and we weren't disappointed. First of all the staff is excellent and well trained. They went out of their way to help, give information and generally give guests a... more

We are on a cross country trip. Wednesday we left Homewood Suites in Fairfield and travelled to Redding for what was to be a 3 night stay. When we arrived, there was a note on the front door, "Pool is temporarily closed sorry for the inconvience" When I asked about it, they said it would be a few hours and... more

We stay at this hotel often when in Redding to visit relatives. It is just a great place, especially for the price. We have had to stay in other hotels occasionally when La Quinta was full, or just to see if there is somewhere else we might like better, but we keep coming back. We have tried other La Quinta... more

Horrible! Upon checking in we discovered dried blood on our supposedly clean pillow case and when we called the front desk we were informed that due to the hour housekeeping would not be available until the next day. We were in Redding to attend a wedding of which we had the address of the wedding site which was situated behind... more
