I arrived late and was pleasantly surprised to receive an upgraded room after a lengthy drive to get there. Staff was very nice. Room was excellent. I would definitely return to this hotel. Great place to stay.

The property felt like you were in a boutique hotel and not a chain. The room was a contemporary (hip) looking one like you would see in a major metro area. We stayed there for three days but only slept and ate breakfast there. The breakfast buffet was varied and generous. We enjoyed it very much. The hotel was clean so if you are looking for ok, then go for it but the entire time I was there I heard nothing but banging sounds from the kitchen which our room was next too. Had a great stay with my family. Breakfast was good, room was clean, pool and hot tub were nice. Staff was friendly and helpful. We will stay here again next year when we come back for the basketball tournament at Simpson University.

The hotel has become very shabby, it badly needs refurbishment. Hampton's generally have good beds but not this one. Second floor Ice machine dispensed some sort of evil organic material with the ice----Yikes. Mold in the shower and a dirty worn chair. Upload speeds are terrible. Kinda noisy; could hear the people above me stomping around all night. Otherwise, clean, nice people, reasonably comfortable bed, good location. The front desk people were very nice.

My family of four adults enjoyed this clean, quiet Hampton Inn tucked in behind a main drag in Redding while traveling up I-5. The breakfast space and choices were especially good. Checkout was quick and easy. The cost with government or AAA discount was very good, too.

The lobby had a large piano people could play, and staff was helpful and friendly. There seemed to be frogs living nearby that would make a good deal of noise at night, but it was interesting at least and better than many other things I've been woken up by. My stay was for three nights. During the Xmas holiday season with the hotel nearly full of travelers. The hotel was very quiet and clean. It was very important to me that all personnel were as friendly and helpful as possible.
