I needed an affordable place for a week in Redding. I found this hotel. It was affordable, quiet and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful with any question I had. Because it was not a busy time, they made me choose the bedroom. No smoke or no bad smell. It had soap in the bathroom. The towels were... More

I was traveling north to Oregon and stopped in Redding, CA. I found this hotel and it was clean, quiet, and affordable. The staff was very friendly and the room had a new TV, which was nice. AC Worked well and the room and the WiFi was fast and free. Can't complain and would definitely recommend to anyone else traveling... More

The room had a very bad odor, and I had also asked for a Non smoking room, but I could smell the smoke. The furniture was okay and the staff was friendly, but when i asked if i could switch to a better smelling room they had denied my request

Positive: The room was clean, not a hint of cigarette smell. The A/C worked almost too well.. it was as cold as a meat locker within 30 min, and it was reasonably quiet. The bed was ok, I've slept in worse and the linens were clean, unstained and comfortable. Wireless worked. The staff was polite. Negative: No electrical outlets. You... More

Stayed in Room 132 THE GOOD: (1) The room was clean and actually smelled like a non-smoking room, (2) excellent shower hot water and pressure, (3) although the surrounding neighborhood was full of characters of dubious virtue and the nearby motels are full of registered sex offenders per the police data base, none of those nefarious types seemed to reside... We stayed here 1 night, terrible, old, peeling wallpaper. Small double bed. Everything is falling apart. Drab and old shower, shower floor is stained. We paid too much for this place, and will never again stay in Redding, will move on!!!!

Came to Redding just for a stop to sleep during a road trip. The town is known for excessive heat and meth heads, so I was a little scared to see what the Travel Inn would be like. It really wasn't that bad. It's close to the highway (so you don't have to experience the "heart" of Redding), and there's... More

It wasn't the *very* cheapest in Redding, but I liked the reviews I saw elsewhere. When I arrived, I was pleasantly surprised - and exhausted - so that was a good thing. The woman at the front desk was kind. The motel seems to be run by a married couple. The room and motel itself does seem to be kind... More

People were shooting up across the street. The creditcard terminal was not functioning. My reservation was not on file. Just a lot of little things that add up. When we got in the room there was no soap. There was mold in the shower. My wife made me rip off the sheets and look for bedbugs. We didn't find any,... More
