We had cabin 6. So what if the floor was uneven? We were there for the marathon and stayed three nights. Everything was fine if you don't mind uneven floors and paper thin walls. Fortunately the loud people next door in #5 were only there one night. The kitchen was fine. We drove up to Hoby's Market in Scotia, bought... More

Staying IN the redwoods can be difficult. Accommodations can be far from the actual parks and trails and quite pricy. The Redcrest Resort, however, is reasonably priced and nestled right where you want to be. It has various overnight options from cabins with full kitchens and numerous bedroom through small one room cabins with all the necessities to RV hook... More

The Redcrest Resort is the place to stay if you are looking for a great get-a-way, friendly people (especially Tanya), clean, reasonably priced, and in a great location to take in the sights of the Redwoods. Our stay has been enjoyable. We highly recommend The Redcrest Resort. Oh, almost forgot, the gift store is filled with unique items that's affordable.... More

We loved the old fashioned look and feel of the resort. Our cabin (cabin #6) was clean with newer carpet and bed linens. Walking through the cabin, the floors are not level, there is a mishmash of kitchen utensils and the bathroom is small. But this is what we loved about the place. You feel like you stepped back in... We loved this quaint little place! Great location on Avenue of the Giants! Nice and quiet, not crowded, great gift shop-with reasonable prices! Best of all, the staff is warm, friendly and caring! We went on a long, 11 hour day trip and didn't get back until late - they were worried about us! Wonderful people and a wonderful place!

My husband and I own the Blue Gables Motel in Buffalo, Wyoming and we thought we had a gem! We have now found another one! Thank you for all your hard work that goes along with owning a fabulous Mom & Pops Motel! Our dogs Duchess & Thor enjoyed it too! My hats off to you!

It exceeded our expectations....beautiful forest surroundings, clean and charming, with a fun outside area for the kids. There was a small, well equipped kitchen that was easy to cook in and a nice porch and picnic tables to enjoy the view. The person on the phone suggested we pick up groceries on our way north in Garberville since the store... More

I attended a wedding recently located at the Women's Federation Grove. Or, at least, it was supposed to be located there. Unfortunately for the bride, it rained the entire day of her wedding. Why am I telling you this? Because thanks to the owners of the Redcrest Resort, our family found an alternative location, and the reception was able to... More

These aren't fancy cabins by any means but they are absolutely perfect for a visit to the Redwoods. We stayed in July with our family of four. The cabins had very sufficient space, small kitchen but all of the utensils and dishes you could imagine. The resort went to great lengths to add in all features possible; hot tub, tether... More
