We loved this quaint little place! Great location on Avenue of the Giants! Nice and quiet, not crowded, great gift shop-with reasonable prices! Best of all, the staff is warm, friendly and caring! We went on a long, 11 hour day trip and didn't get back until late - they were worried about us! Wonderful people and a wonderful place!

My husband and I own the Blue Gables Motel in Buffalo, Wyoming and we thought we had a gem! We have now found another one! Thank you for all your hard work that goes along with owning a fabulous Mom & Pops Motel! Our dogs Duchess & Thor enjoyed it too! My hats off to you!

It exceeded our expectations....beautiful forest surroundings, clean and charming, with a fun outside area for the kids. There was a small, well equipped kitchen that was easy to cook in and a nice porch and picnic tables to enjoy the view. The person on the phone suggested we pick up groceries on our way north in Garberville since the store... More

I attended a wedding recently located at the Women's Federation Grove. Or, at least, it was supposed to be located there. Unfortunately for the bride, it rained the entire day of her wedding. Why am I telling you this? Because thanks to the owners of the Redcrest Resort, our family found an alternative location, and the reception was able to... More

These aren't fancy cabins by any means but they are absolutely perfect for a visit to the Redwoods. We stayed in July with our family of four. The cabins had very sufficient space, small kitchen but all of the utensils and dishes you could imagine. The resort went to great lengths to add in all features possible; hot tub, tether... More

We've been coming here for over a decade and keep returning because this place is awesome located in the heart of the Avenue of the Giants, the tallest trees in the world. There are about 10 or so cabins for rent that are well equipped for staying overnight or for several days. There are two 2-bedroom units and the rest... More

Non-corporate, family business with local hand-made art for gifts. Jeani was very helpful & friendly. Jeani's husband, son & son-in-law are the wood-crafters so you're literally buying local, unlike the other shops. AND to top it off, the family is also the volunteer fire dept!!!

We were cycling down the coast from Oregon. Planning on camping for the night, we quickly changed our minds when a downpour ensued. We spotted lovely, inviting cabins on the side of the road in Redcrest and decided to chance it. What a charming, CLEAN place. We thought it was affordable as well with two really comfy beds and a... We stayed in Cabin #1 for two nights. It had everything we needed and the beds were comfy. My husband is on the taller side and the shower was a bit too small for him, but it worked just fine. It was nice to have a bbq right outside the cabin and a grassy area for the dog to run... More
