This was a huge disappointment! The driveway is a slight hill and is very loose gravel so if you are on motorcycles – BE CAREFUL! The office was closed so we had to check in at the gift shop and the clerk was a little rude and seemed put out with us, especially when we asked her if another unit... More

We stayed in Cabin 11, which is shaded. A nice feature on a warm day. Cabins are old, but comfortable. Good bed. Basically a base of operations to visit Humboldt Redwoods State Park. nice porch with chairs after hiking.

We came upon cabin 10 after an arduous journey; marked by bike rides across the golden gate bridge, walks throughout San Francisco, driving up 1&101, and narrowly escaping the predators of Garbersville. We found our way to this welcome respite with 2 newly-wed Germans. Like our journey here and beyond, our German companions have commenced on their epic adventure of... More

This was a perfect spot for us to stop on our road trip. The cabin was the perfect size. There was one room and a living area with a small table to eat. The grounds were very pretty and the hot tub was wonderful. We would have loved to stay longer and hope to be back someday!

Great location on the doorstep of Humboldt Redwoods State Park and on the Avenue of the Giants. We motorcycle camped amongst cute cottages and some nice RVs under gorgeous Redwood trees - very shaded - a neat and tidy camp and cottage site. Very helpful and considerate managers. Clean and readily available washroom and showers. Recommended for sure.

I was traveling from Sacramento to Oregon coast so this was my half way point. A little pricey $145 night for the queen studio ( $10 per dog per night) which is a good price. Could barely walk around bed to get to restroom, would be too small for 2 people. .was too small for me and my 2 boxers.... More

We stayed in cabin #12 and enjoyed our one night visit. Just needed a nice place to stay while we toured the area. Went up to the town of Eureka, it was fun to walk around. Very artsy town. If you get a chance experience the old Samona Cookhouse. It was fantastic history and delicious family style dining. Very much... More

About the only place near here. The cabin, located among the RVs, was clean and reasonably well cared for; most of the amenities were good and you can tell the owners are trying. The bathroom had some discoloration on the ceiling and some mold where the shower pan meets the floor. Cabin 11 has a little front porch that is... More

We wanted to stay in the redwoods and enjoy the trees - this was perfect. It is small but well maintained and provided full hookups. There is another campground a mile or so down the road that had no trees so you wouldn't even know you were in the redwoods! We enjoyed our stay here.
