What a comfy, cozy and immaculate establishment! Each room is individually decorated in the loveliest way with warm colors and specific comforts of home. Of the 4 places we stayed on our long road trip, this was by far our favorite place!! In addition to the lovely rooms, you get to experience the charm and friendliness of the proprietor --... More

Definitely the cheapest room available in Red Bluff, but you already knew that. What you didn't know is that you can expect superb and personable service. A trait you won't get from the major chain hotels in town charging over twice as much. This is an old property, and at a bargain price, so if you were expecting the Ritz... More

On our 3 week tour of northern California this was without doubt the worst motel we stayed in. There was no hot water in the room, either in the shower or the sink. There was also a strong smell of cigarette smoke in the room, supposed to be smoke free. The air-conditioning sounded like a train passing through the room.... More

We stayed just one night but that was enough. The place was empty and, while that should have served as a warning, we saw it as a plus. The manager was friendly and knocked $5 off the price to entice us to stay. The room was spacious, with plenty of room for a small fridge with microwave on top, a... More

The place shows its age in some ways, but that is easily overlooked given the overall size and comfort of the accommodations. Our room in the corner was huge, and the furnishings were vintage and homey. They were neither generic nor trashy. From the street we weren't sure what we were getting into, but it was clear once inside that... More

It's worth staying here one night for the nostalgia of it. It's inexpensive, vintage decor, everything is clean and it works. The staff is very friendly. The room was not large, or maybe it just had too much stuff in it. There was a mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The room layout was a little awkward. But this is... More

Based on previous positive reviews, I spent Friday night 6/14/13 at the Sky Terrace Motel. The cost was $39.99 plus tax (apprx $43.00 total), a good value. The motel is a 50s/60s vintage motel that has been kept in relatively good shape. The younger lady who checked me in was welcoming and friendly. Most important, my room and bath were... More

I checked this place out today, after reading all the Trip Advisor reviews and I was shocked at what I saw. The room I checked out was dingy, with smelly carpet, smelling like old tobacco smoke . The setting is lovely, and it could be cute, but the owners seem to have fallen onto hard times. The owner was quite... More

an old style court motel with a really nice elderly lady at the desk. However, the building is in need of maintenance and the room in need of better cleaning. The spiders had taken control of the bathroom and the towels were ready to be tossed. A good location though with a park on the river across the street.

What I liked most about this motel was the owner. We made reservations ahead of time because of the reviews and we knew we were going to arrive late. We called her from the road and she immediately reminded me of my great-aunt, super friendly and accommodating. She said that she didn't usually stay up that late, but she would... More
