Stay away during the "warm" months. We were celebrating a family member birthday, so we had several rooms and guests age ranged from 2 to 55. It was 117+ each day. That's tolerable with shade/pools/misters. The hotel had a total of 4 standard size umbrellas for the entire the family pool area. We asked, but there were no more. The... more

My husband and I travelled from England to Palm Springs for 8 nights in June 2009 with Virgin Holidays. The hotel check-in was quick and easy. We asked for a high floor which we got looking over one of the quieter pools. The hotel building itself looks very 5 star. I would say the rooms were of 4 star quality.... more

My husband & I stayed at the Westin Mission Hills Resort and Spa for 5 days in late June. This resort has some good and bad points. Some highlights: -Our room was very large, with a sitting area, a refrigerator, a table/chairs, a private patio, and a huge bathroom suite -- one room for the shower/toilet and another large vanity... more

My husband and I stayed here June 12 - 15. Because we paid up front for the room, we got a great deal of $125 a night. We checked in easily at 6pm on Friday and requested a quiet room - we were offered a pool view room and said "no thanks!" after imagining all the people out there early... more

My husband and I spent 5 days over Memorial Day at this property. We booked through Priceline and paid $90 per night for a standard king sized room and took advantage of the upgraded golf view room for an additional $25 per night. The resort fee of $25 per night is excessive for wireless internet, gym and spa privileges. I... more

Overall the stay was great! Checking in Friday of Memorial Day weekend. Front desk had a long line, but everyone was smiling and welcoming and line progressed efficiently. Upon check in, the agent worked with us to find a room on the property that would be convenient to the pool. We got to our room and it was sort of... more

We stayed here this past Memorial Day weekend. It was terribly crowded to the point that they had to bring in extra security and people got into fist fights at the pool! Much more serene after the crowds left on Monday! The pool water was rather dirty, with hair and other stuff floating around. Also, our room was not as... more

This was probably one of the most rundown hotels I have ever stayed in. I can't begin to list the horrible problems. The pool areas were so jam-packed with time-share families and thier guests that you couldn't even see the water - never mind finding a chair. It looked like it had not been cleaned in years. The room was... more

Cell phone was taken out of my golf cart at the snack bar. Hotel security and Sheriff disclosed that a gang member had the phone. When I asked why a gang member was allowed in the pool area, security stated that "sometimes" people sneak onto the property to use the facilities. Of course, we found this out after leaving our... more

My first time to Palm Springs area. Not a fan of the desert, so fortunately, lots of water on the Resort property, and large pool. Plenty of places to relax outside under shade. Rooms were ok, breakfast area and food was superb. Conference center was very good, service overall was fine. I am a Platinum SPG member, so I stay... more
