The renovations they did at this hotel were well done. The lobby was very nice. We were able to check in early (at noon, compared to 4 pm) which was great. The rooms are spacious, the beds were very comfortable, and the bathrooms were clean. It was so nice to have a patio, and it overlooked the small golf course.... more

Beautiful, relaxing resort. We stayed in Bldg. 3 which had an awesome view of the lake, palm trees, ducks and golf course. The 2nd floor allows a bit more privacy. Stayed here for Memorial Day weekend. We have a toddler, so a couple days before I called ahead to make sure they would have a crib for our room. They assured me it wouldn't be a problem, they had plenty. We arrive around 9pm at night after a long drive from LA, and guess what? They don't have any cribs.... more

Terrible service, checked in and they gave us a key to someone elses room- 2 hours late, then finally got a room and told us it would be comped. This hotel was the last leg of our road trip which included Vegas, Grand Canyon and Phoenix before returning home to the Monterey Peninsula. The resort was nice especially the pool area. The one drawback was not enough servers around pool area. The room was ok. It looks like a lot a people eat in the room so it would be nice to vacuum under bed and around corners. We saw food under both bed and in corners. The staff was not particulary friendly.... more
