So, let me start this review by saying that I was really hoping for an amazing experience at the Ritz Carlton Rancho Mirage. I didn’t get it. The hotel‘s common areas are beautifully landscaped and the staff is truly exceptional in most cases. Prior to arriving at the Ritz’s, I received an email from the hotel asking if we were... More

We held our semi-annual company meeting at this RC last week and were very happy with the experience over the three days we were there. Generally we prefer modern properties, so other "old world style" Ritz properties are usually not considered. This Ritz is a bit unique in that it is modern, and in a great location. Meeting coordination was... More

We are luxury travelers and only stay 5 star when those accomodations are available. We have stayed at other Ritz properties and this was the worst. HORRIBLE food - I mean, HORRIBLE. Terrible wait staff at restaurant - rude and inattentive. Applebee's has better servers and food! Comfy bed but bad bathroom design - water all over the place when... More

Let's get the first thing out of the way. The Ritz is terribly expensive (unless you have a group or meeting negotiated rate). In season I paid $529 per night plus over $68 in taxes plus a $33 parking charge (mandatory) plus a $30 resort fee, which adds up to $660 per night. So what did I get? First, a... More

Simplicity at it's best. There are so few places where one feels welcome no matter who you are or what you have. To some even the name The Ritz may seem intimidating...it is not. There is only kindness and respect to be found here. Honestly, everything is everything. The grounds are amazing, and yes, if you want to walk out... More

I recently spent three nights at the newly reopened Ritz in Rancho Mirage. The property has been fully reconstructed and the physical plant is awesome and much larger than the old hotel. The rooms, pools, fitness center, spa, deck areas are wonderful. The staff is eager to help and connect with guests. It is certainly one of the two best... More

Stayed at the Ritz in Rancho Mirage this past weekend for two nights. Like all Ritz properties it was great although we weren't crazy about the interior design, colors and drapery. The shower bath configuration was really not good. The tub is in the same spray area of the shower? In other words someone taking a bath is being showered... More

The Ritz Carlton gives you a fabulous view of the mountains, the entire property,is lovely. The rooms are what you would expect from a newly renovated property. The restaurants on the property are great, and the service is pure Ritz Carlton. They've had great entertainment, and have been very helpful in setting up golf, and restaurants off site have been... My husband and I use Marriott Rewards points to book a weekend getaway in Rancho Mirage for Valentine's Day. It saved up several hundred dollars and allowed us to experience the newly renovated hotel. From the minute we got off the freeway and approached the hotel it was surrounded by beautiful scenery. I love the Palm Springs area this time... More
