My husband and I have been lovers of the California desert for many years, especially enjoying the relaxing atmosphere, the warm weather, the beautiful golf courses, not to mention the Indian casinos. Our fondest memories were those times we spent at The Ritz Carlton. When they closed for renovations, we were sad. BUT, the wait was worth it. The new... More

Been to the Ritz bar three times now twice with friends and once just my wife and me. The new Ritz looks so different. It's modern with clean lines. No dark wood, no 19th century art work. The staff are great. But a $20 burger in the bar? Yeah it good but $20? Drinkwise the prices are higher than anywhere... More

After cutting our European vacation short due to rain my wife suggested Palm Springs for the weekend, but because of the service we made it a week! I don’t even know where to begin. My wife and I had been regular customers of the Ritz-Carlton before it closed 7 years ago and were delighted to see it re-open. We weren't... More

I just returned home from my first trip to the Coachella Valley. I expected to have a nice time, relax and just enjoy quality time with my husband away from the hustle-and-bustle in LA. I did not expect to completely fall in love with the desert, but I did. Most of this hot new love affair can be attributed to... More

We have stayed at all of the best hotels in Palm Desert and Palm Springs - this is now our new favorite. The hotel is perched on top of a hill, with a view of the whole valley. My wife, daughter, and I came for a quick get away from Los Angeles. We originally booked from Tuesday - Friday but... More

When my husband booked this hotel he read reviews which mentioned that the hotel was reopening after a renovation and that the place was nice, but the service was still adjusting. Nothing could be more true. The premisses are great. The hotel is located on top of a hill and has a wonderful view, serially from one of its nice... More

For those that remember the Ritz Carlton Rancho Mirage as it stood perched up on the mountain landscape years ago, this was a bit of a different experience for a "coming home." The Ritz of the past was grand and felt elegant from the moment one approached the doors. The property has changed a bit and now boasts a more... More
