Its not the grandeur you might expect from other Hyatt properties, but it is an older hotel that has gone thru various changes over the years, finally becoming a Hyatt property. It has a nice breakfast bar and it has a lobby bar that open until 10 pm. The rooms are 2 room suites, with a fridge and microwave, a... More

This is a rehabbed older hotel that has had some great cosmetic improvements but needs more maintenance. Tops of roofs, stairwells, the hole in the bathroom ceiling where the sprinkler used to be, the Motel-6-type bathrooms, etc., show the changes are cosmetic and not really of Hyatt quality. That said, the breakfasts were worth it as were the weekend rates... More

I have been staying at this property a few times each year for 13 years. The free breakfasts with friendly staff is the reason to stay here for business. You get a great buffet with made to order omelets. There are many maintenance issues - stains on drapes, carpet not installed properly, paint chips, etc. My room was not cleaned... More

For a business stay it isn't bad. It is starting to look a little worn though. For sure not the cleanest room I have checked into at a Hyatt. I expect better quality from such an establishment. Rust is starting to show trough some around bathroom area. Drain was plugged up. TV reception was awful with snowy screen on a... More

I stayed in the Hyatt house Sacramento/Rancho Cordova during the last week of September. I really liked staying in a hotel where the personnel made me feel at home. They offer a superb breakfast (included in the rate) and being able to enjoy dinner in the hotel was very comforting after a long day in the office. I am a... More

I had a very nice experience at this property, as I have come to expect from the Hyatt House hotels. Free breakfast was great (omelet bar was especially tasty) and all the facilities were nice, including the pool, spa, workout room, etc. The air conditioning was turned up a bit high in the common areas. A few minor quibbles: 1.)... More

If you're looking for a 5-star hotel, this isn't the place for you, but if you're looking for a clean, comfortable room, very friendly staff, and good value for the money, this is one to consider. We've stayed her about a half dozen times over the past five years, beginning when it was known as Sierra House. Frankly, we liked... More

The staff is always very friendly and courteous at Hyatt House in Rancho Cordova. Though not a 5-star hotel by any means, it's always clean and comfortable and pleasant. The outdoor pool and hot tub are pleasant, they have some cabanas to escape the hot sun, and there are plenty of clean, large towels by the pool. The rooms are... More

This hotel has an amazing staff that totally makes up for a few visual short comings. You'll find on your visit that some of the paint and furniture could you a touch of TLC. What I mean is the office chair has cracks in the covering and you can tell the painter might of missed a few places. But if... More

I have stayed at Hyatt Regency's and Hyatt Place hotels and have always been extremely satisfied. This is the first time I stayed at the Hyatt House, and it was an extremely disappointing experience. The room was very old with worn down furniture, paint peeling and it overall felt like a very cheap roadside Motel. Not up to the Hyatt... More
