This was our first time visiting Ramona, CA. The resort is located in a quiet, acreage community, with beautiful mature trees and horse stables just across the street. Our one bedroom unit was well stocked, very clean and comfortable. We had a nice sized deck that we enjoyed sitting out on. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool... More

We had a 2-bedroom villa, first door street-side, but only noticed traffic noises during the day. We ate on the patio several times and enjoyed the kitchen and full fridge. The beds were comfortable and we had few complaints. The resort is well-placed for trips to San Diego, Julian, and Poway. Since we were of-season, we missed the railroad and... More

This property has now been purchased by diamond resorts international. They will try to sell you a time share when you visit. Not a good thing. As a time share owner of very high quality properties, do not do this. It a very new concept. I think it is a great concept. Do your homework! The resort. .it is what... More

Did not realize this was a "Diamond Resort". We had no experience with resorts. It was nice. Kitchen was spacious but we did not use it. Bed was nice and room spacious. Nice and quiet. Did not even see other guests but they said they were booked. Pool and spa were nice. we used the pool that was part of... More

The Riviera Oaks Resort is certainly off the beaten track, resulting in a very relaxing, quiet stay. Our second floor unit had a very nice view of the pool and mountains, and was quite comfortable and roomy. The staff were most accommodating and helpful. Although there was some extensive road work between Ramona and the resort, it never resulted in... More

Very comfortable 2 bedroom condo, with two patio areas. Attractively decorated, very attentive staff. Any minor problems were addressed rapidly (burned out bulb, clogged toilet, etc) and they were quick to bring extra pans for a meal we were preparing. Nice pool, free laundry. A park with a playground next door, and horseback riding available across the street, as well... More

Had the 2 bedrooms with the family. Location was fairly remote and usually a 45-1hr drive to the San Diego area. The drive could be fairly treacherous depending on which road you take. Beds were comfortable. There were some minor hiccups (bathroom issues- toilet leaks, etc) which were addressed ASAP. They were accommodating with our requests. Staff were friendly and... More

We stayed 3 nights because my grandparents booked the nearby San Diego Country Estates using their timeshare. I thought our condo was better kept and nicely appointed. The rooms were large and we had a private balcony that extended almost the entire length of the condo. I was also nicely surprised that we had daily maid service. This is a... More

We booked the Ramona Oaks Resort and Racquet Club because we were looking for a resort that our time share points used and was within a day’s drive from Las Vegas where we were at a business conference. Ramona Oaks had availability and was just 5 hours away, so once we concluded the buying show we attended, we were on... More

My wife and I stayed for one night in June. I think it will be the first of many stays. The resort is about 8 miles from "downtown" Ramona but has many self included activities that you never have to leave. The staff is very friendly, and upon entering our one bedroom suite, we decided to skip driving to town... More
