We visited this timeshare facility for my sister-in-law as she wanted to book it for next January. We viewed the two bedroom which was spacious and had a wood burning fireplace and washer and dryer. These units are spacious, but dated. A little hard to find even with mapquest and google maps. Near stables if you like to ride and... More

Overall, this timeshare was one of the most comfortable timeshares I have experienced in over 25 years of timeshare exchanges. My husband and I had a two bedroom, two bathroom unit and each bedroom had a king size bed with a pillow top mattress, which was especially comfortable for a timeshare but not particularly firm. Despite that my husband and... More

I'm embarrassed to say that this is our 'home' timeshare resort and having just spent a week there, we will not be going back unit they upgrade it! We hadn't been in 4 years but we thought we would go back to see how things are.... I visited the resort 20 years ago (mid -90s) and the place still has... More

This special hotel is located in a planned residential area beautiful for both its natural surroundings and for its landscaping. It accesses over 100 miles of intersecting wooded trails through riparian areas in greenways between housing. There are a dozen tennis courts, swimming pool, playground and yet it was very quiet when we stayed there for a week. We saw... More

San Diego Country Estates is definitely in the country and so not near San Diego. It was a little over an hour. We had a one bedroom timeshare that was more than ample in size for the 2 of us. We did not have a remodeled unit. It was somewhat dated but we were quite comfortable with washer, dryer, full... More

We had read reviews and we're not sure what to expect and we're pleasantly surprised. Yes it is an hour to San Diego and most attractions and probably not ideal for families with younger children. Our rooms were spacious and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. ramona is 15 mins away and has a good supermarket and other facilities. There... More

The San Diego country estates is quite and relaxing place to go for a quick get away from Los Angeles. It's far but still close to all the tourist attractions San Diego has to offer. Only a 40 minute beautiful scenic drive from downtown. Close to Barona casino.

My family has been coming here for vacation since the 1970s, so my kids are the 4th generation who have enjoyed this place. There is no better value in San Diego county, the rooms are so spacious that my family of 5 could easily stay there for weeks (and we have). Beautiful grounds, nice pool (though nothing special) and hot... More

Please do not think this is a hate mail report. We booked a week for a stay from Australia, expecting that San Diego Estate was in San Diego, it is not. It was over an hour to San Diego. We expected to be doing an exchange resort booking through RCI. The reason we expected to be in San Diego was... More
