Selected the Pine Hill Motel based upon reviews and they had a room available for the couple of nights I needed to be in town as part of a project kickoff in the area. While it is an older roadside motel the cabins were clean and included a kitchen for meals. With the pine trees on the hill behind the... More

I had an opportunity to spend a weekend recently with my daughter at the Pine Hotel Motel, and we just had a wonderful stay. The room was VERY reasonably priced, clean, and cozy. Bed was perfect (comfortable), and we had fully furnished kitchen. Cabin'y feel to the room. Owner has a good sense of humor. I holed up in the... More

My biggest complaint about this motel is that the traffic noise is incessant; because the main highway is located immediately in front of the facility, every truck that passes in the night sounds as if it's about to come through the wall. Since Quincy is in the heart of logging country, there is plenty of truck traffic throughout most of... More

Sorry you were dissatisfied during your stay with us. If you had just let us know, we would have gladly helped you with some of the issues. We DO have high-speed internet access with a strong signal—instruction cards with passwords are in each room. Because we are up against a hill, Verizon cell service works best at our motel, but... We were motoring around California on our most recent trip and ended the day in Quincy, a nice town with a surprising number of lodging options. Many were filled as there was a college baseball tournament starting the following day. We pulled into the Pine Hill hoping to find a room for the night and got lucky. The owners were... More

The main problem we had with this motel is we didn't get a good nights rest, so I would not stay here again, nor recommend it. They had sprayed a lot of deodorizer not only in the room, but on the bedding which made it VERY difficult to sleep. In addition, Highway 89 is very near the rooms, and it... More

We stayed in Quincy for two nights and were very pleased with the Pine Hill Motel. We had Cabin #4 with 2 queen beds. Yes, it was small, but plenty of room for 2 people. The cabin was spotless, and had very comfortable beds. A real treat was the Kona coffee provided which was delicious. Good Wi-Fi, and a very... More

It was everything we expected based on the reviews. We are always on the lookout for places to stay with personality and Pine Hill doesn't disappoint! It's quirky and fun. The cabins were small but comfy and each one was different. We arrived fairly early and we were allowed to tour the cabins and choose which one we wanted to stayin.... More

Just on the brink of Quincy, there are cute and fabulous little wooden houses by the side of the road. These are the cabins of Pine Hill Motel. The price is fair. The cabin is small but clear, well equipped and you can see amounts of old-style stuff mainly with geese on them. Everything (plates, pans, glasses, etc) you need... More

look, y'all, your options are limited in quincy so you may as well go with funky and friendly. tiny rooms but tons of storage space. full service kitchen, wifi, and just a great ambience. my adult kids + 1 'exploded' their backpacks but there was plenty of room on the porch and kitchen for them to organize gear, etc. there... Cool Old School motel. Great location near Quincy. Old fashioned look and feel with personal quirky touches that make it a pleasure. Great view of the surrounding valley and easy access to the road. The management is friendly and hospitable without being intrusive. If you like Twin Peaks style you will dig this place. Very authentic and cool.
