Located in the heart of the valley. very clean, rates reasonable, and accommodating. Saved me money due to kitchens in room. Sure beats the cookie cutter motel. This was more like home.

This old fashioned motel on the edge of Portola is a real find. The rooms were nicely decorated, and had refrigerators, coffee pots, and microwaves. The bed was very comfortable with fun sheets and bedspread. Clean bathroom. I arrived mid-day without a reservation, and they let me check in right away. It was a very peaceful place to stay.
