We've stayed in many b&b's and the view out our room's window( Marin room) was one of the best ever. Bryan and Stephanie treated us like old friends. Their love of the island, the lighthouse and its history, and the nearby community was ever so obvious. Just a note. Please don't be concerned about the road to the boat launch... More

Absolutely fabulous....the setting, history, and most of all the innkeepers, Bryan & Stephanie. They are a fabulous couple with lots of energy and a commitment to serve you well. They are genuine people. Stephanie is Chef Extraordinaire with her preparation of fine cuisine for dinner and breakfast. I'm a photography enthusiast so I really enjoyed the views from the island... How often do you get to stay in a lighthouse? How often do you get to stay in (not on) San Francisco Bay? How about both??? The fun started with the winding drive to Point Molate near Richmond. As we parked, we were met by a friendly local pooch, who led us to the friendly harbor master, who pointed out... More

Staying here was one of the few times in your life you are completely surprised by your surroundings. Everything about it was fantastic. A beautiful location steeped in history, the food was amazing and even wildlife shows up to enhance your stay. From sea lions to Canadian geese, the short boat ride out there tends to redefine staying with the... More

We booked all 5 rooms and stayed the night with good friends, a wonderful place to hang out and enjoy special companionship (but you could easily go as a single couple too). From the amazing views to the awesome food and hospitality provided by Bryan and Stephanie, there is nothing else like it in the Bay Area! SO amazing, so... More

This “Dinner, Bed and Breakfast Inn” is part of the light station built in 1874 and is located on a small island in the channel between San Francisco and San Pablo Bays. There are five rooms holding ten guests and all the rooms were booked on the day we went. Two upstairs rooms have private baths (sink and toilet), two... More

We stayed one night on this small island and really liked it. Bryan and Stephanie were great hosts, super friendly and talkative - and yet gave us all the privacy we wanted. The island is small and really well taken care of, and they give you a detailed tour and answer to all your questions. There were only four guests,... More

This was our fourth visit to the East Brother Light Station and this time we brought three other couples and booked all the rooms in the house. We all had the best time, a weekend to remember. Bryan and Stephanie, the current lighthouse keepers, are wonderful. You will lack for nothing. The weather did not disappoint, with a little rain,... More

I had a small wedding at the light station last weekend, and our event was handled with care and attention to detail by Stephanie and Brian, the couple who manage the station. The food was excellent and they made sure that everything ran smoothly. This location is unique and I highly recommend it as a B & B for people... More

Pelicans diving, seagulls squawking, San Francisco cryptically appearing through the fog, the ocean swirling all around, what a tripping 3 days on East Brother Island Station (we stayed in Walters Quarters - perfect for a very happy couple). The driving experience to the Harbor is a treat in itself; bumpy roads, big holes in roads, uneven roads - but only... More
