This “Dinner, Bed and Breakfast Inn” is part of the light station built in 1874 and is located on a small island in the channel between San Francisco and San Pablo Bays. There are five rooms holding ten guests and all the rooms were booked on the day we went. Two upstairs rooms have private baths (sink and toilet), two... More

We stayed one night on this small island and really liked it. Bryan and Stephanie were great hosts, super friendly and talkative - and yet gave us all the privacy we wanted. The island is small and really well taken care of, and they give you a detailed tour and answer to all your questions. There were only four guests,... More

This was our fourth visit to the East Brother Light Station and this time we brought three other couples and booked all the rooms in the house. We all had the best time, a weekend to remember. Bryan and Stephanie, the current lighthouse keepers, are wonderful. You will lack for nothing. The weather did not disappoint, with a little rain,... More

I had a small wedding at the light station last weekend, and our event was handled with care and attention to detail by Stephanie and Brian, the couple who manage the station. The food was excellent and they made sure that everything ran smoothly. This location is unique and I highly recommend it as a B & B for people... More

Pelicans diving, seagulls squawking, San Francisco cryptically appearing through the fog, the ocean swirling all around, what a tripping 3 days on East Brother Island Station (we stayed in Walters Quarters - perfect for a very happy couple). The driving experience to the Harbor is a treat in itself; bumpy roads, big holes in roads, uneven roads - but only... More

We drove past it, going over the for San Rafael Bridge, for years before we knew that it was a bed and breakfast. We stayed 2 nights, and hated to leave. It is convenient, cozy, peaceful and unique. PLUS, it is beautiful !! The rooms are very comfortable, the views of the City and the Bay are great, and the... More

Enjoyed a weekend get away at the historic lighthouse station. The hosts were very accommodating. Food and service was excellent and the tour of the lighthouse was fun and interesting. The views, sunrise and sunsets were amazing. The only caution is during fog horn season you may want to book a room on the other side of the lighthouse opposite... More

The gounds and scenery were excellent - it was a beautiful clear day. My wife (as a birthday surprise to her) enjoyed it very much! The room and food were great! I particularly enjoyed the foghorn equipment room and the operation of it. Bryan and Stephanie were great hosts and very knowledgeable about history of the lighthouse and surrounding area... More

We stayed one night on our 50th Wedding Anniversary. We are lighthousers and we enjoyed our stay. The setting was great with a great view of San Francisco and the bay. The only disappoint was the advertised gourmet meals. The meals were good but not gourmet.
