Best place in point Reyes. Whether cottage or bungalow. Doris and Greg nailed the hospitality. It's quiet, charming and in a wonderful location. The hot tub at day's end is a reward. We like cooking dinner and enjoying air.

We stayed in the Alberti Cottage (1BR, kitchen/living room, 2 patios and hot tub). There is one other cottage and the owners' house on the property, but you would never know you're not alone. The gardens are beautiful and hedges are carefully planted to ensure complete privacy. The kitchen is well-equipped, and the owners provide lots of information about things... More

The cottage was spacious, clean, comfortable, well equipped. Wi-Fi worked great. The gardens and patio are lovely. Hot tub was great after a long day of hiking. The cottage is secluded and quiet but with quick easy access to Hwy 1 and the shops and restaurants of Point Reyes Station and perfectly situated to drive anywhere in the Point Reyes... More

Doris bakes a tasty array of cookies for your arrival along with a quart of milk in the refrigerator. This very well appointed one bedroom comes with a full kitchen, BBQ area, separate spa area and a well appointed family room. It is a great place to stay and it makes for a terrific hub to explore the many small... More

We loved this place. Quiet private accommodations. The hot tub and fireplace made for a relaxing stay as we explored the area by day and stayed in at night. Although the owners live on the property, and are readily available, the privacy is complete. Doris & Greg are nice as can be, friendly and genuine. Very centrally located to the... More

I had heard about Ferrando's Cottages for many, many years now through my parents, but I had never been there, so when my mother invited my sister and me for a family weekend over Easter, my expectations for this place were incredibly high. I have to say that from the moment we drove up until we left, the entire visit... More

We are traveling to Point Reyes Station for a wedding in September 2015. I decided to try and book accommodations now (April 2015) and tried Ferrando's Hideaway Cottages along with 2 other bed and breakfast facilities. The other two accepted our reservation and said they would use my credit card information to hold the reservation; however, Ferrando's went ahead and... More

This reservation was made online on our website. (Jill C and I never spoke on the phone). When you book on our site with "webervations" reservation system it states clearly: "please fill out the reservation request. If we have questions after we receive your request we will call you. Otherwise we will charge your credit card and email you a... More

We had a wonderful stay in the bungalow. It feels so very private, but if you want to have a chat with the owners, they are incredible friendly, giving us a tour of their outdoor kitchen, and bread ovens, as well as some fresh apples for our picnic. The bungalow was cozy and fully equipped with all essentials, and the... More

I hesitate to write this review, at the risk of sharing this wonderful spot with those here on TA....but...if you're looking for that perfect getaway spot with all the creature comforts of home, I would highly recommend Ferrando's Hideaway Cottages! Doris and Greg are the perfect hosts, Doris with her lovely breakfast that awaits you each morning, and Greg with... More
