a sweet, un-intrusive spot...since no-one was ever in the breakfast/living area, and it was adjacent to our room, we felt like we had the whole house! A comfy feel and a genial host. A short walk to town.

Disappointing. For the money, better value and accommodations can be found close by. Property is tired, in much need of paint and basic repair. Past its prime - at one point, years ago, this was probably one of the nicer places to stay. Also of note, a lot of traffic noise.

I stayed at the Inn for one night on a recent weekend - very large room with lots of light and a private patio, very clean, comfortable bed, friendly innkeeper, common room and porch make wonderful reading spots, great breakfast that filled me up for the morning hike. I found only two downsides to the place. One is that it... More

This was a perfect accommodation for us. My adult sons were in the downstairs room with twin beds and we were in the East Lake room at the top of the stairs. The rooms are nicely appointed, the bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed the balcony with a lovely view of the surrounding rolling hills. Though a small detail, 2... More

Older resort. Owners are gradually making improvements but it's going to be a long haul. Everything worked and nothing really stands out worth complaining about except perhaps the proximity to Shoreline Highway where you get the occasional loud motorcycle or truck roaring by. The room was nice, clean, the gas fireplace was working and was romantic touch. There was a... More

We stayed at Point Reyes Station Inn several weeks ago. It looks nice from the outside, and in fact looks ok inside, until I realized that everything was of very low quality and badly maintained. The walls were Motel-6 quality, the trim cheap, in fact everything was cheap, including the one and only Presto log for the fire. Very poor... More

The location was good, close to the town of Point Reyes Station. The room was comfortable and the setting was lovely. Other than when we got the keys, we never saw any sign of Ralph. We misunderstood the listing as having a hot tub in the room, which was OK, but when we were thinking about using the outdoor hot... More

WE had the least expensive room which was on the ground floor with the toilet just across the hall. For us that wasn't a problem because the place was pretty quiet. We only saw one other couple briefly who were eating breakfast on the patio as we were packing up. I did take the opportunity to sneak around and look... More

Room was nice but no night stand on one side of the bed and no reading lamps. Maintenance needs to be done...broken light in bathroom, no overhead or side lights in bathroom, dim bulbs, missing vertical blinds on sliding glass door. Breakfast was mediocre. Room we stayed in was beside the eating area for breakfast, so no privacy or peace... More

We stayed here for two nights in search of the local oysters. The rooms and interior are well done and nicely appointed. The garden is lush and secluded, and a great place for breakfast. The hot tub was lovely for one night, but broken the second night. As is mentioned in other reviews, this place is close to town but... More
