We recently spent the night at the Inn and were pleasantly surprised. Overall a nice clean spacious Inn with a good breakfast. The folks running the inn, Gene and Vicky were very helpful and welcoming. For those looking for a quiet coastal retreat this is definitely an option. We would not hesitate to stay at the Wharf Master again.

It was necessary for me to travel on the busy holiday weekend during a rd trip up the west coast and reservations were a must. This property was my choice and I paid top dollar to stay here. I have to say I have some mixed feelings about this place. I liked the foggy, cool weather and the small working fishing... More

This was a one night stay in the spacious Victorian Suite with a sea view, private deck and clean and tidy furnishings. The inn was easy to book on line, and the front desk was very helpful as we arrived quite late and wanted to eat and drink before bed. Not much is open at the harbor past 9pm! It... More

Our stay at Wharf Master's Inn was the best of our two week visit to southern Oregon and northern California. Had we known what the experience would be like we would have stayed longer than the one night. Our room had a private deck where we had our meals and a peek-a-boo view of the working harbour which was fine.... More

Older property and a bit shop-worn around the edges, but extremely clean and comfortable. Artificial electric fireplace - very realistic - and over-size jacuzzi tub. The breakfast was typical expanded European, with waffles, bagels, fruit, juice, coffee/tea/chocolate, etc. Very tasty and fresh. The desk staff folks were friendly and helpful - especially Vickie. Our private deck overlooked the harbor and... More

Yes home made bread pudding with hand picked local berries for breakfast, wonderful. OK so I guess I should start by saying how wonderful the views are overlooking the Ocean, the convenience to walk a hundred yards to the quay, the terrific jacuzzi, the ever so friendly couple running the hotel...but that break pudding is awesome.

We had the most amazing view from our room. Most of our time in Point Arena was spent enjoying the view from our balcony. Though wifi is offered, it doesn't work from the rooms. So if you want to be off the grid, this is the place to be. Everyone in this inn and the community itself were very friendly.... More

My husband and I stayed in July in a room with a comfy queen poster bed, big jacuzzi tub, fireplace, ocean view, balcony, microwave and refrig. The managers and staff were very friendly. Every detail is provided for a pleasant and romantic gettaway, from tea candles near the tub to ice cubes in the refrig. The free self-serve breakfast was... More

Lovely little inn in a cute town. Spacious rooms and the innkeepers were accommodating with our late check-in. Breakfast was just what we needed to start the day. The innkeepers were wonderful. I wish we had more time in the area. We had the partial ocean view room and it was plenty of ocean!

We had room 100 - which is not one of their ocean views and is their least expensive. The bed was fine, and the room basic and functional. Staff was friendly and helpful. The property is adjacent to a great public area on the bluff overlooking the ocean. We hiked this for a couple of miles in the fog -... More
