Sandra immediately makes you feel at home, and like almost everyone else in Amador County, as though she truly appreciates your business. The B & B is very quiet, antique-y and quaint, with very comfortable beds. I am not a big breakfast eater, but I can't resist Sandra's breakfasts -- they are bountiful, delightful & befitting a gourmet restaurant in... More

We stayed in April 2012. Such a relaxing place and hugely interesting house so wonderfully created and cared for. It was last minute pot luck on booking.com as we were on a "work it as you travel" adventure and discovery trip down route 49 - couldn't have got luckier! Every other comment on TA says the breakfasts are out of... More

We recently stayed at the Plymouth House Inn and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The hostess is very warm and friendly and she did an excellent job of spoiling us. We were served wine and cheese in the afternoon and coffee was brought to our door at 7 AM. The breakfast was a home-cooked gourmet delight. We had fresh squeezed orange... More

My husband and I just visited the inn for 5 days due to family business. It was lovely- truly the best breakfasts I have experienced outside of Europe. Sandra loves to cook for the guests and there is not any way to leave the table in the morning unhappy !! Also as very early risers, there was tea and coffee... More

We spent a lovely Saturday night in Plymouth at the Plymouth House Inn. Really enjoyed the "wine hour" that the innkeeper provided as it was a great way to socialize with the other guests. Plymouth House Inn was a small B & B that was clean/cozy/charming, convenient to wine tasking, with a very pleasant innkeeper, Sandra. A nice touch...carafe of... More

My mom and I enjoyed a one night stay on a Thursday night. We were the only guests at this quaint B & B that was built in 1895 and were treated as though it was a full house. She did not skimp in any way. The King size bed was very comfy. The 5:00 wine hour was lovely and... More

I stumbled across Sandra's delightful B&B while looking for a place to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversay. My wife and I love wine and the gold country. The Plymouth House Inn sits at the gateway to California's Amador County wineries. If you love robust reds, this is a must-visit area. Sandra was a most gracious host. There were 10 guests... More
