This hotel is set up nicely for the business traveler. There were extra plugs everywhere, even on the lamp next to the bed. We were able to plug in two cell phones, the digital camera, a PDA and the computer and still had extras. It was great compared with crawling around on the floor looking for plugs at other hotels.... I stay in a lot of Marriotts on business, and I have previously stayed at this Courtyard many times. Never again! Yes, the rooms are nicely re-decorated (similar to the Courtyard in Bakersfield) and the beds are new. Stayed here for three nights in April 2005. Hotel was excellent, rooms were large and spotlessly clean. Everything seemed brand new. Didn't have much interaction with the staff except for checking in/out, but they seemed friendly enough. Would definitely stay here again. Not far from BART station with free parking, 45 mins to get to Embarcadero station.
