My first stay in a Residence Inn. Stayed for a week long business trip. Personnel were wonderful. I left a baby blanket I was knitting in the room when I checked out, and drove an hour back to retrieve it. Front desk had it waiting for me, wrapped in a clean plastic bag with my name and room number stapled... more
We stayed at this Residence Inn for two nights, while we were in town to visit family and take our kids to a nearby water park. We had a studio suite with a full kitchen, sofa bed, and king sized bed. It was really nice to have a full kitchen, as we cooked take and bake pizza one night rather... more
Stayed at the Residence Inn - Pleasant Hill over a long weekend with my wife and two children (aged 9 & 6). It's the second time we've stayed here, and both times the hotel delivered on what we were after. We stayed in a two bedroom suite, which was plenty big enough for all of us. Both rooms have king... more
Residence Inn, Concord(Pleasant Hill). After reading the reviews I was on the lookout. The room was just yards from the very busy highway (which I read in a review). When the AC and the frig motor turned off the sound was intolerable. The desk person reluctantly but agreeably changed my room to one layer inward. No highway noise. This Inn... more
We stay at about 20-30 hotels a year (business and pleasure). This was our first stay at Residence Inn in Pleasant Hill and it was a great experience. It's not a new property (probably built in the early 1990's), but is well maintained. The suites are decent size (we got a king with a sleeper sofa) and give you everything... more
I stayed here with my husband and 5 year old over the 4th of July holiday. I normally stay at Marriott brand hotels (or Hilton brands) when staying for business or leisure. This hotel was not up to the normal Marriott standards. The room was outdated and felt dirty. The bathroom and kitchen was very old and showed it's wear.... more
I was on a two week work trip. This hotel was great - the breakfast and the happy hour snacks were good. It is situated in a residential area. The hotel offers a shuttle to nearby shops, but be careful. They say it runs until 7pm, but that's only if they have a driver. I called before 7 for a... more
Once you find this hotel, it has everything you might need in the WC/Concord area ... the trick is finding it. The address is 700 Ellinwood Way, but coming in at night, you turn on to Ellinwood Way from Contra Costa Blvd, then it dead ends, and there is an (unlit) sign with an arrow to the left ... and... more
The Residence Inn at Pleasant Hill was a nice cozy place with the standard Studio apartment amenities. I enjoyed the room set up with the sofa facing perpendicular to the bed so you had definite separation of "sleep area" and "living area". Breakfast is provided, as with all Residence Inns, and the location is right by the highway, both good... more
