Right on the white sands of Pismo Beach, quiet, comfortable as well as luxuriously appointed, our room included a cozy electronic fireplace as well as a spa on the oceanfront patio where we ate our continental breakfast under the June gloom (fog until late am). Compared with other hotels I stayed at, this was expensive, and I expected more. I was allocated a room that overlooked a derelict yard and another hotel, and no sea view at all.
