Stayed here with my wife on a weeknight and loved it. I notice people complain a lot about children and the price, I say to those people avoid Pismo Beach on weekends. Rooms were neatly furnished and were real suites two rooms separated by a pocket door. A very friendly bartender and snacks in the evening. Breakfast was buffet style... more

We should have been staying at the Pismo Beach hotel which looked lovely on the itinery and overlooked the ocean. This is an older style 2 storey motel with a swimming pool the size of a baby pool at most other hotels. The Reception area is bright and welcoming and there is a small library area next to the bar.... more

The check-in was smooth but the staff could learn to smile more to make the traveler feel welcome. Lovely lobby and the grounds of the Oxford Suites are quite nice. The rooms are spacious; beds very comfortable with ample pillows. The TVs, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, etc. were all in working order. The room service staff was most gracious and... more

It was my Husband's B'day and found this place different and interesting through their web site 360 virtual tour. Wow Business center! (with two computers in the lobby). Wow Library !(No kids allowed). Wow a Gym! (what was that stinking smell in the Gym with like 4 machines). The swimming pool looked great from the virual tour, but in reality a... more

The "Manager's Special Rate" was given to me over the phone. We received two drink coupons per person for the evening cocktail reception and a hot breakfast with a decent inside / outside dining area. The pancakes were absolutely perfect and my daughter was happy to find hot sausages. I'd go back again just for the pancakes!!! We were in... more

Discusting, dirty, would NEVER go back even it was $59 let alone the $149 we paid. Sheets stained, knob on shower broken, toilet running ALL NIGHT LONG, beds are no the most comfortable beds in town and the customer service was the worst. Secured deposit, but arrived late. They gave away our room and the lady at the counter did... more

We booked this through Hotwire and paid slightly more than we had the previous night for a fabulous 4* hotel in Monterey. I agree with a previous poster who said it would be OK if you closed your eyes from the car until you got inside the room. Somehow the outside is just so depressing - even the colours it... more

We've just came back two days ago. Oxford Suites overall is a great place to stay. We enjoyed the soft bed and pillows, very comfy bed. The breakfast was served in the morning although I don't recommend the scrambled eggs and hash brown (tasted like rubber). But it was still very nice to be able to sit outside and enjoy... more

If you understand that this is a true motel and not a hotel or certainly not a resort you will be fine. The rooms have wood or pergo floors which is such an amazing thing to have in a motel- no cooties in the carpet! The rooms are awesome inside- if you could only close your eyes from your car... more
