We should have been staying at the Pismo Beach hotel which looked lovely on the itinery and overlooked the ocean. This is an older style 2 storey motel with a swimming pool the size of a baby pool at most other hotels. We've just came back two days ago. Oxford Suites overall is a great place to stay. We enjoyed the soft bed and pillows, very comfy bed. If you understand that this is a true motel and not a hotel or certainly not a resort you will be fine. The rooms have wood or pergo floors which is such an amazing thing to have in a motel- no cooties in the carpet! The rooms are awesome inside- if you could only close your eyes from your car... more
