I really have to disagree with some of the other reviewers! I don't know where you could find spacious rooms, mini fridges, beach towels, etc. for this price. If you are looking for luxury, this isn't it (and if you are looking for luxury in this area, plan on paying for it). If you are looking for clean , safe,... more

We stayed here along the way to Buellton, CA and spent 2 nights here. The room felt small. It did not have mini fridges, microwaves, etc. The nice thing is there is a Denny's within walking distance and an ARCO/AM PM snack center to find after dark goodies. 10 minute drive from beach. More Pro's: - Cable TV, non contaminated... more

We got fairly much what we expected from a Motel 6 - a fairly basic room at a fairly reasonable price. The desk staff were friendly and helpful. The location good - close to Highway 101, with quite a few places to eat in the area. Driving Highway 1, it was a convenient place for an overnight stop - nothing... more

Very clean and a good value for the $$. Staff was friendly. WiFi is now offered for 3 bucks a night. Too far from the beach to walk but judging from the reviews and a drive-by of hotels on the beach you would need to spend 3 times as much for a comparable hotel nearer the beach. A supermarket, Subway... more

Motel 6 is very good at what it does, and that is providing a good and basic service to travelers. The Pismo Beach Motel 6 offers a clean room with newer carpeting and beds, with a courteous staff. It is located near the outlet shops, several gas stations, restaurants/fast-food places and is right off Hwy 101. There are no ocean... more

A group of us had planned a weekend of ATV riding on the beach in nearby Oceano. We spent the first night on the beach, but it was so miserably cold, so we decided to spend the second night in a hotel. We chose Motel 6 because some of the other riders were staying there and it was only minutes... more

I am a little bias, as I work in a great hotel. However, anyone would have been surprised! There was no VCR/DVD player, no internet, pool was not heated, no breakfast, coffee for a couple hrs & that was it, tiny room, no tub, horrid bed spreads, and a fan that only worked half the time. Staff was short and... more

Staff wasn't the friendliest, and the room was the smallest room I've ever stayed in. But the location is great and the price was right. No more than two per room or it will be too crowded. No internet access, but outlet mall and starbucks across the street. more

My husband, myself and our 13 year son stayed two nights at Motel 6 on March 16 & 17. It isn't a 5 star hotel so don't expect that. If you are looking for somewhere to sleep that isn't expensive this is it. The check-in was easy and the man at the desk was friendly. The room is basic and... more
