Motel 6 is very good at what it does, and that is providing a good and basic service to travelers. The Pismo Beach Motel 6 offers a clean room with newer carpeting and beds, with a courteous staff. It is located near the outlet shops, several gas stations, restaurants/fast-food places and is right off Hwy 101. There are no ocean... more

A group of us had planned a weekend of ATV riding on the beach in nearby Oceano. We spent the first night on the beach, but it was so miserably cold, so we decided to spend the second night in a hotel. We chose Motel 6 because some of the other riders were staying there and it was only minutes... more

I am a little bias, as I work in a great hotel. However, anyone would have been surprised! There was no VCR/DVD player, no internet, pool was not heated, no breakfast, coffee for a couple hrs & that was it, tiny room, no tub, horrid bed spreads, and a fan that only worked half the time. Staff was short and... more

Staff wasn't the friendliest, and the room was the smallest room I've ever stayed in. But the location is great and the price was right. No more than two per room or it will be too crowded. No internet access, but outlet mall and starbucks across the street. more

My husband, myself and our 13 year son stayed two nights at Motel 6 on March 16 & 17. It isn't a 5 star hotel so don't expect that. If you are looking for somewhere to sleep that isn't expensive this is it. The check-in was easy and the man at the desk was friendly. The room is basic and... more

We were treated very rudely at check in.. Asked for two beds in our room, but told only rooms with one were available, yet people that came in after us were given a choice. We had to beg for towels... this is a beach towel and it seems like towels should be a neccesity. Thanks goodness I always bring some... more

Large 2-storey motel located just off the busy freeway. Low priced. Close to gas station/minimart and Denny's restaurant. Desk clerk efficient and courteous. Basic motel accommodations and furnishings. No coffee maker / shampoos / TV remote control / clockradio/ etc., but only paid $56 plus tax on a holiday weekend. more

Stayed at the Motel 6 on September 23rd, wasn't expecting much, and didn't get much. Checked in 3:30pm, no floor level rooms were available (on a Friday). Had to schlep our luggage up the stairs, which is not very convenient. The room was rather small, no clocks, no shampoo, shower is smaller than one in a room on a cruise... more
