I love this hotel. It is only a block and a half from the pier and close to everything that Pismo is famous for. My room was a basic room but it had character, including a gas (faux wood) fireplace. The view was great, a little of the ocean, and a little of downtown. Only minor problem was needing someone... More

The beach has white sand, kids can play whole day long. It's not crowded place, casual. Hotels and motels beside the beach are not overpriced. Great spot for off-road, amazing dunes. We were there few times and will be back soon, it's just 4 hours drive from Silicon Valley.

This place has so much character ! My husband and I recently just stayed here and it was such a wonderful vacation spot ! We stayed in one of the king suite rooms that they offer which has a living room and a bedroom, but the bathroom separates them which is a little weird. The room was very cozy but... More

Really enjoyed our stay. Robert, the manager, was very hospitable and accommodating to our request. Rooms are clean, dog friendly and comfortable. Robert goes above and beyond to satisfy his guests. We travel to Pismo several times a year with our pouch and will definitely return. There is no pet fee so your furry little friends get to stay free.

It's been a year or so since I've stayed here but I'm planning a trip and thought immediately of this hotel. I've stayed here over a dozen times in the past 30 years-- from Spring Break trips to romantic getaways to family reunions: we love the olde timey-ness of this place. It has such character and charm and is right... More

This is a historic hotel in the middle of Downtown Pismo and close to everything touristy. It's a block from the beach and right next door to Harry's Sports Bar where you can dance Monday through Sunday. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Parking lot available for hotel guests; park your car and walk to everything.

We stopped over for one night between Vegas and Monterey. This was perfect for us- very friendly service (thank you!) and a free upgrade to a king room as they were quiet. A very comfy mattress! Good location by bars and restaurants. I was a bit concerned after reading some of the reviews but we found it ideal- comfy, clean,... More

We needed a stop off for the night en route between Big Sur and San Fran. Decided to have a stop in Pismo as we thought we'd spend the afternoon on the beach. Pulled up on the main street in front of this place (there was a convenient parking space outside!). Walked in and found pretty reasonable room rates with... More

Thank you for coming and staying with us. We will make every effort to track down that wobbly ceiling fan and correct the situation. Best of luck with the rest of your journey! More

We stopped off at Pismo on our way up to San Francisco. The hotel was convenient for the beach. Whilst the foyer was dated we only needed a room for the night so decor was irrelevant really. The staff were friendly and booked us in. It wasn't cheap! After being told the gates all get shut at 10pm and no... More

Location is key here if you want the beach/pier atmosphere and plenty of restaurants to choose from within easy walking distance. Nice outdoor courtyard. Wifi only in designated area of property outside of lobby area. Walls are thin. Bring earplugs. Room is very sunny in the morning. Lots of stairs or you can opt for the old fashioned elevator---the kind... More
