Just spent the night here for the first time in 2 and a half years and really enjoyed the stay. The resort had hit on hard times when last here and soon closed. It has been back open now for nearly 2 years and the property is nearly back to it's pristine old self and our top floor room was... More

We had a very nice, clean room. We were on the top floor and it had a vaulted ceiling which made the room feel very large and comfy. The check in hours are a little late and when we went the person who does check in is also the housekeeper, so we had to go out and find her!

We LIVE here, and didn't realize how lovely this lodge is. Had family come from Texas to stay. The pool area is beautiful, the rooms are spacious and clean with microwaves and fridges. The staff were ALL friendly, and it was VERY affordable. The location is perfect-between San Joaquin County and Lake Tahoe and other attractions as well.

We stopped in here while on The Great American Walkabout. The rooms were spacious and had high ceilings, which made us feel much more comfortable. It is tucked away right off Highway 88, and is a short drive from Jackson, Ca or Lake Tahoe. Its a great place to stay when visiting Tahoe as it is quieter and more affordable.... More

I was there Sept. 12, 13 2014. I loved this place. It was very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The pool was excellent and they have a hot tub too. It just had a great feel to it, would definitely come back!!

I showed up here on Tuesday (Jan. 29th 2013) evening, about 7pm, and the hotel was closed. Sign on both doors say the hotel is closed Monday-Wednesday and if I'd like to book a room I have to go across the street to the bar, and they'll call someone to come book me a room. I have to tell you,... More

Yes, the pool is still out. Judging by reviews it's been out almost a year. From what I've learned, it was a simple fix of just draining the pool, cleaning it, and fixing a filter, but the owner (who is never on site) was very lax about getting it done, and the wonderful manager Heather, couldn't do anything without the... I am planning to stay at the lodge (5th year in a row) on 9/3 and 9/4/12 for a golf outing. I was disappointed to find no one on the phones before 1:00pm on Tues, Wed, Thurs. The pool and spa are still shut down (today is 7/12/12). It has been out of service since at least Jan. of 2012.... More

It was barely ok. The pool does not work nor look like it has been in use for years. Very quiet, reasonably priced and secluded. Everything else was booked so beggers can't be choosers. I would not return though.

I have been going here for a number of years now and my last visit was very poor. This was in the fall on 2011. I made reservations and asked about the conditions of the pool and hot tubs, as the outdoor environment with those amenities is what I really enjoy the most. I was told that everything was fine...
