Kennedy Meadows is a disaster. Thousands of people traipse through there every year, destroying any semblance of peace and quiet. Is it the horses or the decades of mouse droppings that make the cabins and restaurant smell so disgusting? The cabin stay may cost you a fortune, but you get hanta virus and e coli for free! We spent a week at Kennedy Meadows the first week of October, and it was one of the best vacations I have ever had. The cabins are rustic, but very clean and comfortable. The only heat is the wood stove and the power is off from around 11pm to 5am, but that only added to the charm of this place.... More
